This looks great, and I want it, but why is it $80-$100 more online than it was in the actual store in Phoenix, AZ??? My neighbor got one in store for around $250. What's up with that??? When I first w my online to order, it said $248, then when I put into my cart, all of a sudden it was $348. Grrrr!!!?

Love how it looks and the music plays nice and clear. I have wanted a life size Nut Cracker and finally bit the bullet and purchased. Hopefully my family will enjoy it for years to come. This nutcracker is even more impressive and detailed than I imagined. Every inch of it is painted beautifully. Yes, it arrived in a verrry heavy box packed with loads of cardboard (which can be recycled-yay!). Though the box was slightly damaged, nothing was broken or missing. I bought two that will be displayed on either side of my door. I'm actually excited to decorate for Christmas because of these!

Excellent nutcracker, especially for the price. We purchase 2 nutcrackers from Sam's every year, as they have a different one yearly. This years went up a little in price, but you can't beat the quality for the price. Can't wait to see what they have next year!!

This nutcracker is absolutely beautiful! It oozes class and quality, unlike others that are thinn plastic or even metal! The music box soldiers and rocking horse move as the music plays tunes from the nutcracker ballet. I'd have bought a second one but they were not on sale!

I have two other nutcrackers from Sam's club. I believe these cost a little bit more than last year, but overall the value is there. The nutcracker is sturdy. The box is very cute and the little horse rocks and the jack-in-the-box goes up and down. It plays holiday music. All similar to the snow globe nutcracker. The packing, however, is a disaster. It's pretty much all cardboard. It's like a rubric cubs of cardboard (similar to egg carton packing). It's worthless to try to reuse to help store for the following years. We took packing tape to put some of “boxes” together so we could offer some support when we repacked it. This is disappointing because they do need to be stored from year to year. Previous years packing allowed for this. Maybe this is somehow eco-friendly? Ugh. Truly a mess to unpack this guy. If you want an affordable, large nutcracker… this is a good one and the littles love it.
