After 18 years our former LG Dryer needed to be replaced. We chose the DLEX5500V based on outstanding reviews, available options, and beautiful sleek design. This machine has so many options including a Steam Dry cycle (good buy dry cleaning bills!). The menu option are extremely easy to use and as a huge plus... I have never had a dryer that is so quiet...you can barely hear it running!! And to ice the cake, it has a beautiful, sleek design. I highly recommend this dryer if you're seeking a new one!

We bought the washer and dryer after our older dryer started to fail. We have been so impressed with this duo so far. I love the smart functions of the set, as it will remind me if I have left wet clothing in the wash and also prompts me to clean the tub more frequently and rinse the lint trap. I love that I know exactly what is going on with the machine from a diagnostic perspective. Since purchasing, our electric bill has declined close to 30% because these are much more energy efficient. They also look very sleek and have a smaller footprint than our previous washer/dryer. Overall, would highly recommend this product.

Well the 3rd time was a charm with this dryer. Originally received a white one which had damage to the front. Then another one was installed which ended up starting on fire in the back ruining items in my home and stinking up my house. With these being a gift they didn’t cost me anything to get them, but the issues I’ve had have led me to not recommend them at all. The washer was a similar hassle but luckily it didn’t start on fire like this one.

Quality may be there but to keep untangling the clothes is frustrating. In my opinion there must better maybe cheaper dryers out there without this annoying hassle.
