It’s a good dryer but the settings are frustrating. For example, if I use a cycle and my clothes don’t get dry I can change the cycle the next time to continue until they are a little more dry. I also find it frustrating that there is no way to keep the drum going with no heat until I can unload the clothes. I go to the dryer as soon as it stops. The clothes aren’t completely dry, warm and in a wrinkled pile. Had I known the lack of control in the varied cycles I wouldn’t have purchased. The additional features like Keep Fresh do nothing to prevent wrinkles.

When in doubt on which cycle to use, the AI cycle has never failed me in safely dryer my clothes. The dryer is so quiet that it doesn’t disturb my activities at home. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this dryer!

Our nonprofit does a lot of visitation and work with the infirmed. Volunteers often leave some of their protective clothing for the next use. Laundry happens and in the world of Covid being able to sanitize was one of our highest priorities. This system of 5500 units has performed very well so far and the company volunteers are enjoying the connectivity of the smart components.

This dryer is dries fast. Unlike that is doesn’t feel super hot and the clothes are dry but don’t feel like they are scorched. However, my favorite feature is the LG app where is lefts me check on drying time, remote start and let’s me know when it’s time to clean or perform maintenance to keep my dryer on tip top shape.

I love our new dryer! Love how it is connected to the washer and recommends the best drying option based on the wash cycle. The AI options are cool too, it senses the clothes and sets up the drying settings based on the fabrics. Super cool and pretty accurate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new dryer is easy to use and dries our clothes about two times faster than our previous dryer. We did have some issues upon installation that were quickly addressed. First, we had to switch the door hinges so the door opened from the right side rather than the left. Second, we had to by and install a low profile offset dryer connector because the position of the exhaust vent of our old dryer was 6 inches to the left of the position of the new dryer exhaust vent. I wish someone had told us that before we ordered the dryer -- but fortunately, all is fine now.

In May 2023, we bought the LG 7.4 cu. ft Dryer along with the LG 4.5 cu. ft Washer. Both appliances have so far functioned excellently, and they provide more features than I probably will ever use, but at the same time "quick settings" that are ideal for most needs! But even tweaking the standard settings is very easy. The Dryer developed a crack in the frame of the lint filter, which was replaced by LG in a very short period of time and without any fuzz. So I also like customer service! I am very happy with both appliances and would purchase them again. Is there anything that could be improved upon? Of course, there (almost) always is. The sensor buttons for "on/off" and "go/pause" are too easily triggered by just leaning over the appliances, for instance. Real push buttons would probably be better. Secondly, the light goes on in both appliances when they are finished, which is great. However, even if I try to get to the appliances right away, often times the light does not stay on long enough to unload them. 30 to 60 seconds more would be very helpful - another option is to trigger a time interval when the door is opened.

Only issue (that I see reported elsewhere and LG does not plan to fix) is that some lint does collect on bottom of the door gasket and the door does not close well (has about 1/4 inch gap - when closed, I can pull/push on the door and it has a lot of give). I may resolve this using another user's solution - adding door weatherstrip so that the door seal meets case.
