I don’t have to worry about using too much water for certain amount of clothes. My water bill was very low and I used the machine over 8 times. I love being able to do everything from my phone as well.

My first thought about a dryer with wifi, was, "Why, why would I need this, why would I want this?" I bought it anyway, because of the beautiful, modern and sleek look to it and my previous dryer was an LG which I had a long, very good experience with, so I wanted another LG. This works as good, if not better than my previous dryer and I do use the wifi. The LG ThinQ app lets me know how much time is left, when to clean the lint filter and sends an alert to my phone when it's finished, among many other useful features. When not in use, the dryer's digital display shows the date and time. I also bought the matching front load washer and the matching pedestals to complete the look and functionality. It's a beautiful looking and beautiful working machine!

In May 2023, we bought the LG 7.4 cu. ft Dryer along with the LG 4.5 cu. ft Washer. Both appliances have so far functioned excellently, and they provide more features than I probably will ever use, but at the same time "quick settings" that are ideal for most needs! But even tweaking the standard settings is very easy. The Dryer developed a crack in the frame of the lint filter, which was replaced by LG in a very short period of time and without any fuzz. So I also like customer service! I am very happy with both appliances and would purchase them again. Is there anything that could be improved upon? Of course, there (almost) always is. The sensor buttons for "on/off" and "go/pause" are too easily triggered by just leaning over the appliances, for instance. Real push buttons would probably be better. Secondly, the light goes on in both appliances when they are finished, which is great. However, even if I try to get to the appliances right away, often times the light does not stay on long enough to unload them. 30 to 60 seconds more would be very helpful - another option is to trigger a time interval when the door is opened.

We bought our dryer in September 2023 and it’s a fun purchase. It pairs with the washer to recommends the best cycle according to the wash cycle. It informs me to wash the lint collector every 10 cycles, and informs me when my load is done allowing me to restart or use keep fresh remotely from my cell. There’s even a steam option that gets well set wrinkles out not to mention there’s a cycle that assists with ironing leaving clothes slightly damp. My most favorite cycle is the one for jeans. I no longer need to hang our jeans out to dry because the cycle doesn’t shrink the jeans.

Purchased a washer/dryer pair for a new house because the brand was consistently rated high or highest in a national consumer testing magazine. Not a fan of the ThinQ. Have no interest in operating my dryer with an app. Three months in and unit is quiet, efficient and fast drying. Time will tell but very pleased so far.

We've been using the washer and dryer set for over a month and love them! The dryer is so quiet, fast, and the clothes seem to be softer than what the old dryer has able to dry even with the dryer sheets! My wife was a little uncertain about using the single dial, but now she loves it! Especially the ThinQ link from the washer communicating with the dryer to set the dryer setting! Only complaint is that the internal light does not turn on and stay on when the door is open.
