The waistband stays flat and the length keeps them from riding up his thighs. Only downside: the tags inside are large and scratchy and hard to cut out.

My son says they're very comfortable; they don't ride up, and the fabric is so soft he says they're a pleasure to put on. He loved them, and so did I because of the quality.
