I've had an iPad for a while now but I've been looking to get one has a gift for somebody and this seemed like the perfect opportunity for it. I know with mine I use it for just about everything. Sometimes sketching things and I'm always making lists and note-taking because I write stories a lot so I have it with me when an idea hits and it's all around so useful. I also read alot and having books on there so I can read any number I have downloaded and saved is really nice. This one wasn't for me but I do have the same one so I know it'll be a great gift when it comes down to it.

Vary nice user experience, great battery life only have to charge once every two days. I does come with a USB type C charging cable with the block to plunge it into the wall. It does take a little bit of time to get used to the swipe up rather than the home button of the older I pads. All in all I am very happy with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking to replace my very old ipad and was looking for something basic since I don't do anything complicated on it. This one was on sale at a $50 discount which pushed it over the top. Although I have only had it a day it seems to be working up to my expectations and I have had no problems with it.

If you're just wanting a simple tablet to stream things on while you're working out this it the tablet for you. Spec-wise it's nothing crazy so don't expect to be doing some intense mobile gaming on it or anything but for simply watching shows the display is gorgeous and the speaker quality is decent enough for the price.

It claimed to be new but it's used. It is connected to someone else's name and there is great difficulty performing a hard reset to regain access to the machine. I have accepted the challenge for now but will likely return the item. You can get a new one at Best Buy for the same price.

I like this Ipad however I don't like the location of the on button %26 fingure scan. It's on the left side %26 I'm right handed. You will have to use your left handed. I don't like how to close out each app. I find it a little difficult to do. picture %26 speed is good %26 fast.

This is a great Ipad for the price. I don't need all the fancy features of an Ipad that cost twice as much. Don't need cellular and all that junk in my tablet. This tablet runs all my apps with no issues whatsoever. Battery life is excellent usually lasting me several days between charges however, that totally depends on how much you use it. I only spend a few hours a day total using it on only charge it a couple times a week at most. Excellent tablet for the money.

If you are like me and does not need to have the best ipad in the world like air or pro. This is the best budget tablet under $500. You get good screen time usage, The kindle app is great I use it on my iphone. The apple play store is also good. Tons of free games and you can get arcade cheap as well. overall a great tablet I highly recommend it.

I came from the Android world (I don't own IPHONE), so it took a little getting use to. The OS requires too many hand and swipe gestures to switch between windows. Where on a Android there are 3 vertical bars, once selected, allows you to switch to a different window; Apple should really consider a similar approach. My other big gripe, is storing my own music on the tablet, you can't use the music app unless you bought the music from Apple. I have over 200 albums why do i need to rebuy them. The only app I found was VOX to play my own music, it takes a little getting use to but I finally got to play my music. If i want to stream music I have Amazon and Spotify. I bought this tablet to play music, read email, video stream and browse. When it comes to browsing or streaming it is really fast. If you are a true Apple devotee, you will love this tablet.

At the price under $300 this is perfect Xmas gift for a child over age 10. This ipad cokes with A16 chip which is faster to play games and for video calls. Only drawback after recent iOS upgrade is sometimes it slower down or start lagging when it is in cold environment. Other than that the speed and screen looks awesome.
