We needed some shade for our 1960’s brick patio and I finally decided on the Norwood 16 x 12. We are extremely happy with it and the beauty of the cedar pairs so well with the old brick! I had 2 friends (one was a retired contractor) help and we finished it just short of 3 days. Our patio slants downhill some so we had to pour some good size concrete pilings. We followed the written directions and the app and only had to back up a couple of times. We are using it as a cook shed and outdoor bar. We even came up with a few suggestions for ease of putting it together! Extremely pleased!!

But my little car fit nicely under the small gazebo so now it’s a carport. I’m very happy with the purchase. The assembly team did a great job also.

I looked for several weeks to find this product. Everyone seemed to be out of stock. I located it out of state and had it shipped to me. No major complaints. Fit and finish is excellent. all the parts are of very high quality. I added the bench swing and some LED string lights. This is a great addition to my backyard!

I added 4 feet to the carport height to house my 18 foot travel trailer. I inserted 3.5” x 3.5” x 2’ posts into each 7’ post. I then sandwiched (2) 6” x 1.25” x 4’ cedar boards & (2) 3.5” X 1.25” to the center posts. I then attached the provided baseplates to the new extension posts. The build from that point was normal.

My carpenter friend and I just finished erecting this building. Not only is it beautiful above my swim spa, it so well constructed. I firmly believe it will easily withstand the high winds and heavy snow as you advertise. We did not have to adjust any of the pre-drilled holes. The enclosed brackets are not flimsy sheet metal as you might expect. We are very pleased with the entire project. Would strongly recommend to anyone.

We were looking for a Gazebo solution that could withstand our extreme winters and high snowfall and this one looks very sturdy. The parts were very well identified and packaged (each hardware pack had at least one extra piece so if you stripped or damaged one, you had a spare). The instructions are a dream to use (when I didn't understand a process, I watched the "BILT" video instructions and those had the extra details I needed). The steps are organised and thorough. Yes, there are steps where you definitely need 2 or 3 people, but these steps are identified so you can arrange help beforehand. We are very pleased with everything about this product and would highly recommend this to anyone. Everything about this gazebo, the packaging, instructions, precision and even the fact that there is an extra of every nut an bolt (for emergencies ;-)). I have constructed many items in my life, but this HAS to be the best and relatively easiest I've experienced. I'm a fan!

This gazebo is so much sturdier than our previous setup and with the metal roof and electrical outlets, it provides all we need. The product installation was well documented and the step by step video tutorial made it super easy to assemble without second guessing what you were doing. A few steps require a second or third person, but for the most part it was a one man assembly. We love the look and are hoping to enjoy it for years to come.

The kit arrived at an incredibly busy time for me. We had just moved and I had many tasked to complete before leaving the country for two weeks. On Sunday night I decided my slate was open for Monday so I began reading and trying to understand the assembly instructions. Monday at 5:00 AM I began unboxing and stacking pieces in a logical placement. With a few breaks to recover from the heat, I had the gazebo erected and fully complete at 7:30 PM. We are thrilled with how this looks and are now excited to return to out home in 7 days to begin enjoying this idyllic space created under our Backyard Discovery 16x12 Norwood Gazebo. What a wonderful addition to our yard.

We live in Northern Minnesota and wanted something attractive and sturdy enough to withstand the snow. My husband opted to stain each piece prior to building it, we put it together ourselves, we couldn’t be happier with the results.

Quality of wood and hardware is very good...no chipped discolored wood and location of pre-drilled holes is accurate. Instructions are better than most others and have detailed steps and pictograms of assembly with ballooned enlargements for clarity. Wood and hardware are all marked and accurate...pre-assembly is critical to success - group all like wood parts and organize hardware by number and your assembly will be efficient.
