This does the trick. They just fly right in (attracted by the purple light) and the fan sends them to a sticky pad at the bottom. I've just used this overnight, and I'm impressed with it's functionality and effectiveness. Don't expect it to kill hundreds overnight, but it will capture the ones that hop around on your window. Much more sanitary than those fly strips or a zapper. Perfect for a kitchen with a few irritating flys or bugs.

Even on quiet I do find it to be a little noisy. We have it in our kitchen and it almost sounds like the fridge is running. Not sure if I would want it next to my bed. It works well and has captured lots of little gnats in the bottom.
