It seems adorable and sturdy and you get a lot for your money. Easy to set up easy to use has a nice design so it’s not like an eyesore all in all great great product.

The price is very affordable. Maintenance is as easy as changing the sticky pad once filled. Portability is easy because it’s compact size and lightweight. Durability seems it will last for a long time if properly cleaned and stored.

It’s been set up for over 2 weeks and runs for 8 hours every day. I still see random little flies in the kitchen so I wish it was a little more effective. There were only a few flies in there after over 2 weeks. I expected more.

By the end of the week it had caught more. We did not even notice there was mosquitos inside our home but this caught them. Will be buying one for my bedroom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently used bought the STEM Flying Insects Fan Trap to tackle a fruit fly problem in my kitchen. I started by seeing just one or two fruit flies around my countertops, so I set the trap up in the kitchen. After a few hours , it seemed to pull in even more flies. After two full days of continuous use, I noticed fewer fruit flies drifting around the kitchen. What surprised me, however, was that the glue trap insert remained almost empty. I expected to see fruit flies stuck to the adhesive sheet, but there were hardly any. I’m a bit confused about whether they’re being killed inside the unit or simply deterred from that area; either way, the overall amount did drop. As for the design, it’s nice. The fan trap is extremely user-friendly—assembly literally took me seconds. It’s lightweight and compact enough to tuck into a corner without being an eyesore, and it hums so quietly that I barely notice it on If you’re looking for something easy to set up, unobtrusive, and relatively quiet, the STEM Flying Insects Fan Trap is a solid choice. Just be aware that, in my experience, the glued board didn’t accumulate many flies, so I’m not entirely sure how it’s disposing of them.

The cord, with the power block included, was very long so you could position it away from where it is plugged in. The settings for the fan and the timer were touch screen right on top. The fan was quiet and the light was not bothersome. The sticky pad that you dropped right in has no odors so that is all good. It did trap some pesty fruit flys in my kitchen but so far that was all. I did wish it was rechargeable rather than needing to stay plugged in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far the summer months have not begun, so we didn't have tons of flies, however it did not seem to attract the fly we had. I do think it would be great for gnats or fruit flies. I like that the little sticky trap is replaceable although I'm sure it would be pretty gross to swap out if it was full of bugs. I left it running for a while and I did catch a few tiny gnats. I like that it has a timer as well
