We enjoy its smaller footprint while still doing the same sized loads as side-by-side units. Very simple and easy to use. I also really enjoy its smart capabilities with the LG ThinQ app which notifies me when to run a tub clean cycle etc. Maintenance is the key to any products longevity and its incredibly nice to get reminders automatically and to also have them walk you through how to do it as well.

It can handle large loads which in turn has cut down on my laundry loads. I also love how I can use ThinQ to get updates on my washing or drying loads as well as suggestions and notifications to improve how I am using my washtower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it in Jan 2021 and waited anxiously for 8 weeks for delivery. Finally came in late February but had a large dent in front. Was replaced as requested but had to wait again. Thankfully new one came in great condition and works great. Really like how compact it is and large a load it will hold. Looking back on my 23 year old Electrolux set makes me feel like I was beating cloths on a rock by the river. I get notifications on my phone and can see a countdown of the washer and dryer cycles. The Jertsons is now reality!

Wash cycle is super fast when not doing a huge load, but we've found some materials (such as if I was cutting the lawn and had some small debris on my jeans) does not get flushed out when spun. Dryer cycle is really long and normal cycle does not leave clothes dry. Also, seeing metallic looking filings on rubber door seal. Think this one needs to go back. If it is just a lemon, I'd be happy with the features on this model working correctly, let's see.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this knowing that LG only offers it with the hinge on the left but it is the only full size W/D that I could find that stacked and wasn't too tall. The unit is meant for a small space which is what I was putting it in (with sloping roof) and I went through all the throws of whether or not I could still use it with the left hinge. Though it fits it is inconvenient loading and unloading clothes. With a right sided hinge this would have been a five star review but because I replaced an excellent LG W/D Combo that had space problems and I had at least hoped for a much better solution to my problem.

But despite its small size its still a full capacity washer and dryer packed with great features including customizable run cycles and other presets that be easily downloaded from the app. And got my sister convinced and they will be buying one as well.

The control panel being in the middle makes it really easy for everyone to reach. I wasn't sure if I was going to use the app, but pretty handy getting an alert when the load is done so it can be flipped in a timely manner.
