Purchased this unit a month ago. Very sleek and well designed combo unit. Really uses space efficiently. The controls for both appliances are located in middle of console so no reaching up for dryer controls. Cycle options are good and the express settings are really nice. Really please with unit. Just make sure you measure your space where you will be installing since exhaust duct if in middle and could interfere with water controls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how much space it saves in the laundry room. Now there’s room to put in a folding table or even a sink —- or more coveted storage. I’m of average height and have no problem getting the clothes out of the top dryer. The center controls are simple to use, but the best part is being able to control the washer and dryer from my phone. I love being able to see how much time is left and what cycle it’s in. Also, it seems to use less water, which I love! ’ve had it a month now and couldn’t be more pleased.

I bought this washtower just this month. I am extatic about how easy it is to operate. I downloaded the LGThinQ app and found many cycles to download if I so choose, including a cycle for bleaching towels and light dresses. The machine is so quiet, I literally had to put my ear to the unit to make sure it was working. It was! It was spinning at full speed…almost silently!

It works well, is very quiet, and has saved us space in a small laundry room. My wife loves the mid-level controls as she’s short stature, and especially the usability of the controls. LG has made quite clear which cycles to us and how to select temperatures and intensity levels of both washer and dryer. Thank you for a well designed product! We hope it lasts our lifetimes.

But the reason I cannot give it it 5 stars is that the design team eliminated HOT water from Speed Wash setting! Having had 2 previous side by side LG washers we absolutely loved the Speed Wash setting because for singles or retirees by ourselves - 30 min wash cycle including extra rinses for small loads of lingerie/underwear was indispensable. Had I known they had eliminated this feature, I would have never installed them. I still like them BUT 30 mins as opposed to over 1 full hour for small white loads is impossibly extravagant. We used speed wash for everything but he most likely use was rags and personal hot water items! Though the Laundry Center allows for overriding settings to personalize — THAT FEATURE CANNOT BE OVERRIDDEN VIA WIFI. BAD, BAD DECISION- likely made by an all male design team - certainly one lacking adequate demographics to do it right!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bottomline: A nice improvement over our top loading stand-alone units. When we relocated to a smaller home we purchased a ‘top tier’ set of laundry equipment. These were the typical configuration: stand-alone washer and drier. Two and a half years in, these were proving to be problematic. The washer had required a service call, and the drier had developed a periodic annoying rattle. After a lot of research we decided to cut our losses and replace them with this LG laundry center. We liked the smaller footprint as it would free up space in a small laundry room, and saw that having a front loading washer would offer some benefits: the existing washer was a top loader and the tub was very deep. Removing wet laundry was challenging at times; better energy efficiency, reducing water usage, and better spin drying performance. Having now run about 15 loads through the LG laundry center we are happy to report that it has exceeded expectations. It is easy to load and unload. Washed items are just damp after the spin cycle and dry quickly. We expect this to have a positive effect on water and energy usage. The controls are readily accessible, a very nice difference from other stacked units.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this unit for a few weeks and it definitely lives up to its name and reputation. I live in a condo with limited space and this unit fit into that space perfectly. I am also amazed at how it cut my laundry time literally in half. It has a super large capacity and the Turbo Wash cycle is only about 40 minutes long. There is also a speed wash option which takes only 20 minutes! The load of clothes (Jeans, towels, cotton T-shirts, etc.) dries in 50 minutes. I highly recommend this LG laundry center.

Purchased late May, 2021. Love it! I like the error codes that are displayed. One in particular is the d80. Had no idea what it was. Looked it up and found that the vent was stopped up, 80%. My husband took his leaf blower and blew it through both ends of the vent hose. A ball of lint the size of a basketball shot out of the vent hose. We were amazed. Plus, we wondered just how long that had been in there and had not once thought about blowing lint out of there. Like I said...Amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit washes a lot more clothes than my last HE washer and dryer but takes up less room. It works well and I like the notification when my load is done. It lacks some other features which others modern units have, like automatic detergent dispersal.

I bought this on November 6. It was installed on November 14. It ran beautifully for three days then the washer would not drain. It is now December and I cannot get anyone to come and fix the machine. The product may be great, but getting response from LG is impossible.
