My only complaint is the app that is used to control/communicate with the washer/drier combo. I can not get the app to even recognize my machines. So, it is essentially useless to me. That is disappointing, because one of the main advertisement points was the ability to use the app/technology on these machines. Other than that, I am satisfied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had mine for about 2wks and I am in love. The instructions on how to operate are easy to follow and I love the center touch control panel. It's easy to put the laundry detergent and fabric softener in the drawer and to load the clothes which come out fantastic. This is my first front loader and it's wonderful not having to deal with clothes twisted and wrapped around the agitator. My unit is in my garage but it is so good looking that I actually wish it was in my home. Do not hesitate to purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this set 3 months ago and regret the purchase. Heavily soiled loads take 2 1/2 hours to wash. Controls are preset, so you have to use their app to program any other options such as dry for 10 minutes. The dryer seal isn’t tight and condensation drips out of the front throughout the cycle. The chimes are lengthy and annoying and can’t be changed, only turned off.

The unit is compact, fits in an entry way closet, and washes like a dream. Absolutely no issues whatsoever. Plus the app tells me when clothes are done, and I can stop the machine mid-cycle if desired. Easy to load and unload. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] fist time use of a "smart" washer/dryer stack. Have yet to learn of all the option combinations available on the touch keys. It's tricky but the steam option does reduce wrinkles in linens. Next move will be an app setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this set in February for my laundry room remodel, smaller room and this washtower option is perfect for space saving without sacrificing load capabilities! Plus I’m rather short stature at 4’10” and I can use this without a step stool! Not possible with stacking regular units- so this made my life functional and easier. Plus amazing settings that clean great, uses less water, easy access clean out, reminds about tub cleanings, app capable, and looks so sleek in black stainless! Honestly this is now my favorite appliance, makes laundry so easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit has a smaller footprint than other front loaders hence a smaller washer capacity.. We built our Laundry room remodel around this unit and it receives numerous compliments and we are pleased with our choice. The central control panel is in a perfect location especially for short people. The Built-in Intelligence feature is nice as it knows exactly what to set the dryer on based on your washing setting. Sometimes the settings are a little difficult to adjust so I have had to use the owner's manual quite frequently to change/alter the presets. I am sure it is just the normal learning curve. To get to the perma press cycle you have to download it using the WIFI feature. Initially we had some issues getting the unit to connect to our WIFI. I like that it prompts you to do a clean cycle after so many washes. We used the side vent feature which required an additional parts order. The doors are not changeable and they only swing from right to left. There are two main issues I have encountered.#1 If you have back and/or mobility issues the washing machine monthly clean/drain tank and the filter can be difficult to access as the drain door is located on the bottom left corner of the washer and you have to get on your hands and knees to access the door and the drain tube. #2 The washer tub sits approximately 9 inches from the floor so you have to really bend to get to the clothes especially since they often stick to the sides of the tub. This is not the unit for anybody with back issues.

My old washer and dryer of 20+ years finally broke. I was mainly looking for something that would fit in my condo. After being shown the features and benefits of this set, I really liked what I saw. And after the salesman told me that I could wash a king-sized comforter, I was sold.

Pros: - Best laundry output, if you use the right cleaning agents, it delivers fantastic output - Space saver, height is optimal for average height humans - Very Quiet for a washing machine - Multiple laundry options that can be selected from LG thinq mobile app - Energy efficient, and laundry cycle insights are useful if you are environment conscious Cons: - ThinQ app has so much room to improve. V. difficult to setup, remote and wifi setup especially is flaky. But the feature is cool. Wish remote start is always enabled after initial setup - It would be great to modify predefined wash cycles to change attributes like soil or steam addition. Ex. there is a denim only wash cycle, but you cannot modify the soil as it can be medium Overall I recommend this to anyone who wants an outstanding washing tower with so many other perks
