The customizations in the tv is also good itself being able to switch the brightness or contrast at the touch of my hand to match whatever mood or play style I'm in

I bought the Samsung The Frame TV because my son has one and I loved that it looked like framed artwork with a 2-year free subscription to the art store. However, to date, I have not received the help needed to redeem the free subscription. I could have gotten a similar tv for half the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though I may not utilize the art feature as much as I see my mom doing with her Frame TV, (which always reminds me I SHOULD be using it more often), I must say that I LOVE my Frame TV much more so than I'd anticipated enjoying it or can remember having enjoyed a TV in a long time. The picture is phenomenal. I feel like it'd likely be a good gaming tv, as you can see all of the darker images very clearly (to the point where I refuse to watch certain things like TWD or anything with a lot of similarly dark contrasting screens) on my old Toshiba fire TV that's on my first floor. In fact, I hope to upgrade that unit to a larger version of the newer frame tv in the coming year or two. Well worth the purchase - and I didn't even end up needing the sound bar I got because the built-in speakers are already clear enough to readily digest all of the dialogue without difficulty. Even Still, I tend to put it on Bluetooth mode through either my sonos roam or my earbuds at night so I won't be as likely to bother my neighbors. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!

The brightness is good and can be dimmed for a more life like appearance. Overall easy to use and select different works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little apprehensive about getting a Frame as friends have told me that they felt they overpaid for theirs. That's relative and depends on where and when one buys it. I recently bought The Frame after returning a TCL NXTVISION. -The TV looks good for video content. Online reviews had me a little worried that this was better for art than for actual TV watching, but I think it looks pretty good and has much less color banding than a previous Vizio had. That always drove me crazy. -Art mode is more useful than on the TCL NXTVISION because brightness can be set independently of the TV-watching settings, which is great. -Wall Installation was easy enough, but I would have appreciated more words in the instructions and fewer IKEA-like pictograms. -I don't care for the interface. Too many clicks and scrolling is required to get to what I want to watch. I much prefer the Google TV interface on the TCL. -I appreciated that the TCL came with a magnetic frame whereas the Samsung requires an additional purchase.

The interface takes some getting used to but is easy to use once you have figured it out. The contrast is really sharp especially when displaying art on the TV.

The design compliments the room with a clean and modern look. The matte finish on the screen makes the display easy to see when ceiling lighting would otherwise be reflected. The ease of connecting to other devices and the usability makes this a fantastic purchase.
