[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m already a huge fan of Pompeiian products. The red wine vinegar is a staple in my homemade vinaigrettes so naturally I’ve been wanting to add their olive oil to the mix. Not only do they have this Robust variety, tailor made for dressings and drizzling but they also have a variety specifically for cooking and stir fries so I’m going to get a hold of that one to try out too. Olive oil in a plastic bottle, usually dark green for the sake of preservation, isn’t new but it’s typically still a bottle with an unpredictable pour spout so I was drawn to this taller bottle specifically made with a finer tip and made for squeezing. And really, it’s terrific for that packaging ease, where I don’t have to pour it into another container just to be able to be able to distribute it that way. I still do make use of my glass spray container for when that’s needed, but I do find that this squeeze/drizzle type gets quite a lot of use too. And the taste is exactly what I’m looking for in olive oil. A solid olive taste that compliments rather than overpowers the foods you pair it with. This absolutely upgraded my usual Mediterranean style pasta salad but I also found that it paired well with baked salmon, helping seal in that flavor and the added seasonings. Whether or not you’re on a kick with incorporating more healthy fats or not, this is definitely the addition to your kitchen you might not have known you needed. Both a flavor and a health powerhouse, it doesn’t take much to upgrade your dishes and flavor profiles. I’m definitely sticking to Pompeiian for my oils and liquids and I’ll likely grab anything else I discover by the brand too. Once a name sticks, they can usually be trusted for more quality goodies.

The best I liked it a squeeze bottle so it’s so easy and convenient to to use. I believe I will continue to buy this bottle. I loved it.

The flavor is rich and bold—perfect for drizzling on salads, veggies, or even dipping bread. Searing, soups, sauces, drizzle, salads, dipping and even pouring it on hummus. So that being said, I also am not an olive oil snob. I don’t care what brand it is or year that it’s made. It just has to taste good. I been using this brand for some time now, it has a great olive flavor and it’s not super expensive. All though I do buy more expensive olive oil to drizzle and dip on special occasions to treat myself , this is also good for those applications. I use olive oil for cooking on my black stone, so when I seen they came out with this new applicator top on their bottles , I was very happy, now need to pour the oil into my squeeze bottles any more. How convenient! If you like olive oil and cook a lot, you might want to give this a try. I don’t think you will be disappointed . Did I mention the new top!!
