Right out of the tube, the texture felt so smooth and silky, kind of like coconut oil, but not greasy at all. It applied effortlessly and was completely sheer, which I loved. I wore it under a full face of makeup, and not only did it go on flawlessly, but it also kept everything in place all day. No cakeyness, no dry patches, and I didn't have to do a single touch up. It really made my makeup look fresh and natural, even after hours. It came in a pack of two, which was a nice bonus. I applied after moisturizing and before makeup as a primer, and it glides on clear and makes my skin feel velvety soft. There is a bit of a greasy residue left on my fingers but it absorbs very quickly. When I put my makeup on the blended wonderfully and lasted for hours! I'll definitely be using this daily as the weather gets warmer! I tried to upload pictures but it said the file was too large :(

It goes on well underneath makeup, and didn't make my face feel greasy. I was out in the sun for several hours and didn't get any redness on my face, and I usually burn pretty quickly. It doesn't smell strongly compared to other sunscreens, and it blends quickly. It also didn't make my makeup pill, which was a great bonus. Highly recommend.

I ordered it because I generally love the Olay brand and am always on the lookout for an ideal facial sunscreen. What put me off, originally, is the emphasis on a "matte finish." Having now used the product, I wouldn't describe it that way. Rather, this lotion leaves my skin looking smooth, even and radiant, creating a surface to apply makeup on top. That smooth, even, radiant appearance is lovely all on its own, too, which is what I want. For me, though, the presence of a fragrance is a slight drawback. It is light and pleasant; however, for my sensitive skin, I would always prefer a fragrance-free formula on my face. In addition, this suncreen is SPF 35 (adequate), whereas there are others out there that are SPF 50. Even with these reservations, I'm not ruling out this option. Valve money to spend for good product as Olay sunscreen .
