It feels almost like a primer, very lightweight and non-greasy, and my makeup sits well over it. However, it does contain some chemical filters like Avobenzone and Octocrylene. While they're effective for sun protection, I don't like the idea of so much chemicals on my skins. Also, it has a bit of fragrance, which hasn't bothered me, but it could be an issue for those with fragrance sensitivities. It softened and smoothed my skin before I applied makeup, and knowing it had some SPF was a bonus. However, after a week, the solution separated... Instead of squeezing out as a gel/cream, it poured out like oil, ran through my fingers, dripped on the counter, etc. Gross, greasy and really disappointing. I did still apply what was left on my hand to my face, with similar-ish skin softening, but a longer drying time before i could put on makeup. I am sold by the fact that it's invisible and doesn't even feel like I'm wearing a sunscreen when I apply it. It's super duper lightweight. I wore it in the daytime under my makeup and I love the fact that it doesn't just act as a sunscreen but also as a primer so it's a win win for me.
