The texture was thick but I will say after the first greasy feeling it made my skin feel soft. So maybe if you cared less about that and the smell wasn't exactly pleasant but not the worst. I loved that it had no white cast, no smell, and most importantly, it didnt sting or bither my eyes. On first application it does feel kind of greasy but after a couple minutes it sinks in and feels like wearing nothing.
