The unit is sturdy and good looking. An extra set of hands will help while assembling. Am using it as a free standing pantry in a loft which is short on cabinets. Some hardware missing on arrival hope it comes quickly (thus the 3 stars) there should NEVER be missing hardware

I'm a lightweight, 66-year old very low vision female (with handyman proficiency). I was able to assemble this cabinet without any problems. I read some reviews that complained of damage occurring during shipment - I was a bit nervous due to that issue and called both Seville Classics and Sam's regarding their policies for part replacement in the event of damage. Both entities are reliable. Further, Seville redesigned their packaging for this cabinet and the package I received was without any signs of damage externally or internally. The instructions are extremely comprehensible. I strongly recommend a "careful" reading of the instructions. There are a couple of surprises in specific choice of screw to use, and, I almost had a problem due to my making an assumption about which screw was used in a particular location rather than read every single word in the pertinent instruction. Note: if a screw appears to be unusually difficult to screw in, go back and re-read the instruction to ensure you are using the proper screw. There is one place where 2 different screws are used in the same location. Yes - I absolutely would recommend this cabinet to anyone. Yes - it took me longer to assembly perhaps than a "normal" person. But, I got it all done within about 4 hours - using only the provided screwdriver. I would not recommend using a drill with screw bit - this cabinet is BEST assembled using hand-tightened screws.

This is an excellent, lockable storage cabinet for a reasonable price, especially when it is on sale. This is the second one I have bought. I have had the first one for a couple of years now, and when it went on sale recently, I got another one. I highly recommend it.

Sturdy, quality construction, clean stylish design. Each shelf holds 150lbs. I am so happy with my purchase. This cabinet was less expensive than most I had looked at but it stands up nicely to those. My cabinets arrived with no defects, damage. It took me about an hour to put it together but I’m sure that someone a bit more handy would slash that time. Even has a lock and key! If you’re hesitant because of price, you won’t regret your purchase! I love the rubber bumper guards to protect cabinet and walls. The manufacturer thought of everything. I definitely recommend.

I shopped around and read lots of reviews and decided on this cabinet. It was delivered in a timely manner and when I unboxed it everything was in order and in good shape. There were even extra small parts that I turned out needing because I misplaced a couple small screws. The cabinet went together without any trouble and is sturdier than I thought it would be. It is made of solid materials and looks great in my garage.

Great looking cabinet, strong and sturdy however, not all the holes lined up or were pre-drilled at all when putting it together. Luckily my husband is a handyman / maintenance man. He was able to drill the holes needed to put it together. It stated it takes 2 people to put it together, he was able to put it together by himself. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it was missing some of the pre drilled holes.

I purchased this because I needed a locking cabinet for work, and after reading several of the reviews, some good some not so good, I was a little skeptical. But it was a large cabinet for a great price, so I took a chance. It turned out to be amazing and I'm so glad I bought it! It's so roomy inside and I love being able to lock it without the worry of someone pulling on one of the doors and it opening, due to the lack of the lock being secure. Plus it comes with 2 keys! As far as some of the reviews go, if you take your time putting it together and simply FOLLOW the instructions, it should turn out just fine. Now I know there's sometimes a part here and there that won't fit or is missing, but once you get that taken care of and I know you will, the cabinet will be so worth it.

I ordered three of these cabinets and was more than pleased with everything: quality, ease of assembly, clearly written assembly instructions, all necessary screws and hardware and everything fit together exactly as it should. I wouldn't change a thing.

Red rolling cabinets came packaged in foam with each piece in a plastic sleeve. The cardboard box was heavy cardboard. Nothing was damaged, dented, or even missing. After reading the reviews, I was concerned, but figured for the excellent price and free delivery, why not. I was extremely pleased with the packaging. Damage could only be caused by extreme mishandling. FedEx delivered and the packages are heavy. Instructions were great, parts included a magnetic tip screwdriver and even an extra bag which contained a mixture of extra screws. The extra screws were just in case one was missing or maybe dropped and can’t be found. Like that never happens. Two cabinets, went together well, no issues. BTW - Keep the big foam pieces to lay the panels on during the assembly. Saves dents, scratches, whatever....if you use a battery screwdriver, set the torque low to spin in the screws and I suggest hand tightening with the provided magnetic screwdriver. Happy with the purchase.

Bought this storage cabinet to get the back porch organized. I am a senior female and was able to put together on my own - with an extra pair of hands from my Mom here and there. It really is a nice, sturdy cabinet once you get it all together. Yes - the doors will rack a little if your floor isn't level, but that really is not a big issue. I may even get another one in the future.
