I've purchased and eaten State Fair corn dogs for over 20 years. Whatever they have done to both the hotdog and the breading has made them impossible to properly cook in the microwave. The hotdog cooks at triple the rate of the breading, resulting in the breading blasting open and the hotdog overcooking and exploding well before the breading is even warm. I've tried playing with different timing, flipping, power levels, which end of the wrapper is open, nothing works to get them evenly heated. This was never an issue before. +1 star for them being individually wrapped, and they still turn out decent in the toaster oven or air fryer, but I don't always want to spend half an hour and clean the air fryer to make 2 corn dogs.

First off, they are 2-3 inches shorter than any corn dog I've ever had. The hot dogs inside are about half as big around as a normal hot dog, and there is about twice as much corn bread as usual, but instead of being delicious fried goodness, it's dried out and gross, even when you nuke it in the bag. I'll try to choke down the rest, by I can assure you I won't ever buy them again. Downright deceitful, hiding these in a normal size box. I held one up across the room and my wife from 20 feet away was amazed at how tiny they were.

I tried every setting for the microwave and every temperature and time in the oven and never got a dog that I would ever want again. Stiff on the outside and little bitty on the inside. Following the instructions both the covering and the dog split. I finally through the rest out. JUNK! Wish I could give negative stars.

These are about half the size of a normal corn dog and about 1/4 the size you get at the state fair.

Honestly, after years of purchasing these, the last box tastes like it was not refrigerated and the wiener rotted. Not something I will serve to my family again!

These corn dogs compared to the other brand they previously had our terrible. The hotdog doesn’t even feel the center and there’s more bread than anything. I will have to buy my corn dogs elsewhere. :(
