I’m no stranger to this product, bought it a couple of times before. It did well on the smaller ones, but I must have a rat on steroids or something. Laid out six traps in the corner with no bait. Couple of days went by, no hits. Added bait. A day later after coming home and checking the trap, those things were scattered around. Do y’all have anything stronger?

Don’t waste your money. Just spent a chunk getting 6 packages of these and just put them down. Followed a rat into a closet where I had 2 set up. They are too narrow. The rat simply hopped over them and into a hole in the wall. Caught another one on a separate trap and when I picked it up to dispose of it, the rat fell off. The design is a failed one where the outer lip is elevated. Plus needs to be wider. Will be great for mice, not rats.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] these Tomcat glue traps have done the job,I used them for a few rodents that have been snooping around,I think they may have even got rid of a squirrel problem I had,I don't even see them around anymore,can't figure out how they got away with the traps stuck on them maybe they only got 2 of there feet stuck on them and dragged the traps back to there nest,none the less I have seen a drop in these rodents around our home,so for my money these traps do the job,use caution ,these Tomcat glue traps are very sticky,careful you don't get these on your fingers when taking them out of the box,a product I recommend,so far it is working for me.

I had heard blue traps are cruel but I am at wits end with the rats and there insatiable desire to create havoc. So I have put 4 out in areas recommend in the instructions but nothing caught except the paw belonging to my chocolate lab. I couldn't find out what to do until after the fact, no information provided with the product only website,Whatif I don't have access to smartphone or wifi. Not happy and have written To NI H to ban sale of this product

After catching a few mice using mouse-size glue traps, it seemed all mice are gone from my garage, but I was a bit worried, and decided to try the rat-size glue traps. Finally caught one more (and hopefully the last) mouse! The glue is super sticky. No way for a mouse to escape.

I don't understand why so many bad reviews written on this glue trap. I used it for years and I even trapped two 6-inch bad boys with this glue trap. As instructed, the trap should be placed right next to the cabinet foot board so the rodent would run over it. When I trapped large rats, I always put duct tape underneath to secure the trap. Large rats would be able to drag the trap around as they won't completely sink their four limbs into the glue. Use duct tape and both rat and trap stay right where you placed it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was sent free for review BUT I have to be honest. I have used this product many times and was happy to get some for free. Ok, we have 4 acres next to our property that has been vacant over 20 years. They don't mow unless the city dings them and it faces the water. So why did I mention this? Well water rats tend to be a problem. Also when it rains the rats want to come to dry land and look for food. When you open the box you will see black plastic piece. At first if you don't pay attention or don't read the directions first, your first thought will be "what the heck" how does this work??? Well there are two pieces face to face that have to be taken apart. Care needs to be taken when doing this because this sticky is so so sticky. Now I have actually caught several rats with this product. Since they are out in the open on the sticky tray, you will see the critter stuck on it and moving. Have to admit this is not something I enjoyed but the choice was rats in the house or seeing this critter dying. The unexpected plus was when it rains, palmetto bugs "roaches" get into the house. These trays are wonderful at catching them also. YEA!!!!! Anyway, there is no odor but they have to be put in a place that your pet cannot accidentally step on it. Since the rat was in the laundry area of the home and has a door to it, I put one on top of the water heater, one on the pantry shelf where I had see signs of it trying to get into a box of macaroni and another on a higher shelf it might use. A couple weeks later several baby rats and a larger rat were caught. YEA!!! On the bad side, when they get stuck to the sticky glue, they will start squeaking. This is hard to take emotionally for me but again, it is rats in the house or that. Very very please with the results of this products.

It's very large (long) which is nice, it definitely worked to catch the mouse running loose in our house. The mouse was SO tiny and it was on the edge of the glue trap, could have definitely went with a smaller trap, felt a bit wasteful throwing away the big mostly unused glue trap after catching the mouse.

I have been using these for 8 or 9 years in my utility room. Just caught a rat today. Usually, when it rains a lot or the Texas Summers heat up, I will have roaches (palmetto bugs), geckos, and the occasional snake come in. More infrequently, I will have a mouse or rat. I do place these traps along the walls about every 3-4 feet, and on each side of the washing machine, and also on each side of the door into the main area of the house. My rats are not giant NYC size rats-probably about 5 inches long , not counting the tail. I change the traps out about 4 times a year. My house is old, and has places icky pests can sneak in.

Got the momma and all her teenaged kids the next day.
