Igloo is a good brand and from what I've seen this cooler holds up to the claims the have for keeping ice

We bought this to take food to an outside event on July 4th. This morning it still had most of the ice and the food was still cold.

Ice melted in 3 days didn’t hold up 7 days as advertised. Was kept in an air conditioned room the whole time

I bought the older version of this cooler several years ago and as, advertised it keeps ice/cold for 5 days. Last week we purchased a second one (same style/brand). The new cooler says it keeps ice/cold for SEVEN days. Well, that is a lie. After 2 days almost all of the ice was melted. Classic example of redesigning an item and making it worse. Would not recommend. I now have my coolers labeled with a sharpie: “works” and “terrible, doesn't work”

Great cooler, love the size.

Great cooler! We have used it to transport groceries home and for keeping water cool at the worksite and it’s been great for both. Ice lasts days in it even out in the heat and sun!

Only good for day trips. Within 12 hours, enough ice had melted that i needed to buy more. If you're only going on a day-trip, this cooler will be fine. If you're going on a weekend trip, this will be full of water by the time you get home.
