This is a great sturdy platform foundation. It is much more than we needed. It is 15 inches off the ground which made our existing foundation and mattress much too high for us. I didn’t realize it was considered a foundation when I bought it. OOPS. It is great if this is what you are looking for.

Had a broken box spring & decided to try this frame. Strong, sturdy, very quick & easy to put together. Box delivered was a little damaged didn't think much of it. Actually frame was dented too. Decided it did not effect its function. Great purchase & even better price.

We got this frame because our box spring was broken and wore out. The frame we were not sure would hold our weight as we are both large people. But the frame held up great and as been a great purchase. We have had it a couple weeks now and no complaints. One tip though if you buy this type of frame is make sure you have a good mattress or mattress topper. Our mattress is pretty worn out too but did not realize it until we put on this frame. Luckily we had a topper and that helped. My wife really likes that it is tall enough to store stuff underneath and plans on getting some plastic totes to organize the bedroom and closet a little better.

This bed frame was easy to set up. I took someone's suggestion to place a non-skid pad on top so the mattress doesn't slide on the frame. This was purchased for a large man, so time will tell how it holds up and what it does to the mattress as the bars are fairly far apart for just a mattress. He says it's not squeaky, doesn't move (no wheels), seems to be sturdy. So far we're both happy with it.

Bought to support double mattress in lieu of procuring box mattress. Platform base provides adequate support for double mattress without need for box mattress. Simple installation and good strength. Would procure similar platform for all new mattress in the future.

I bought this platform not knowing much about it. I am very well satisfied and will never buy another platform (box springs) again. It assembles in about 15 minutes and is just the right height for a bed after the mattress in put on. Forget the old fashioned rails that rip your toes off--this is almost impossible to snag your toe on. Will be purchasing another one soon.

I am 6’4 and this was a great purchase. We have limited space in our home so my wife stores a lot of items under our bed. We use to have the bed lifters but purchased this for our new bed. I love it it is to tall for my wife so she uses a step stool to get on the bed but she’s a shorty anyway (4’10) and used one when we had the lifters. This was a great purchase for us.

I am rating the Smart Base five stars! We have a Rice bed that originally come with metal rails, however, we had trouble keeping them in place. The rails moved around a lot that the pegs which held them in place no longer kept them stationary and the mattress start slumping where support is needed. We have a King size bed with both foundation and pillowtop mattress. Well, we decided to purchase the Smart Base to give us better support and believe me this was one of our many best investments. We’re sleeping like babies!

I purchased my college aged granddaughter anew full sized mattress and wanted to also provide her with a base for it because her previous mattress wa a twin size. I had this shipped to my family’s home and my son-in-law was thrilled that it was so easy to put together. It literally only took a few minutes. My granddaughter loves it!

I ordered a queen size and foumd it to be a perfect fit. The height is perfect for standard 13" storage baskets to slide under and look nice, alleviating some of my off season storage needs. A little squeaky at times, but not all the time. The frame itself provides consistent support distributed theoughout the entire coverage, and not just a few slats. It elevates my bed so I don't have to bend over to make it, which can be more important to some people that have physical limitations. Overall, it was a great choice to fit my lifestyle and I like that it is so easy to set up. Just unfold and connect. I see the potential to repurpose at some point into 2 separate twin xl in a guest room for grandkids.
