these are definitely nice for having a lot of storage underneath, and they do hold a lot of weight, but not the flying leap of a large teenager. It will bend .

I have 3 of these. A full, Queen and King. I love them, however the Queen just broke after 2 years of use. I am trying to get a replacement, hope that it works out.

This is my 4th smartbase purchase and now have replaced all of my beds with this frame.
