I purchased this for my bed to support a gel memory foam mattress. My bed has wood slats so this adds some more support so the mattress feels perfect. It is low profile and does not add too much height. It was easy to set up and so far has been great to sleep on.

Just received this yesterday and couldn’t be happier. It elevates our mattress to a normal level and actually makes it a little more firm. Our old box spring made the bed too high and it was too low without one, so this worked like a charm. Putting it together was a breeze. I’d definitely recommend!

Do NOT order any bed from Sam's Club. I ordered a simple box spring (full size) and they sent me a KING size platform bed with a headboard. They sent the wrong thing and you cannot tell until you open the box and lug the pieces into the house until you find the directions and realize they sent you the wrong item! Sam's Club will be happy to replace the bed with the right one but you have to REBOX and assemble the box for FED EX Pickup. Their 20% consolation discount is of no use to me when I have spent HOURS on the phone/ texting trying to resolve this situation only to be given the WRONG fed ex number and have to call Sam's Club AGAIN to repeat the story and get another fed ex number. Sam's Club did not own the amount of labor I have to do to fix THEIR mistake. I CANCELED the replacement because I will not risk Sam's Club making such a costly mistake again.
