Amazing! Quick to make and don't feel like i'm eating junk with all the veggies. The only thing I would recommend would be stirring after 3 minutes and cooking for an additional 15-30 seconds as some of the veggies are cold if cooked for just 3 minutes.

I'm eating this chow mein for the first time right now at work. I was skeptical because of the price being so low. But I found the vegetables to be almost crisp and the flavoring to be pretty authentic to the chow mein sauce at chinese restaurants. For the price, a 3 minute microwave meal, it's great. Personally, I prefer to not have the extra packaging since I have dishes at work and do not need to offer more stuff in the landfills, a higher price and bulkier packaging (it wouldn't fit in my freezer!)

I couldn’t decide between three or four stars so… the reason I went with four is because even though it does have a little bit of a bland flavor, and I feel, I need to doctor it with some soy sauce and sesame oil. It does still have a great flavor and tastes like it came from a Chinese restaurant. It is a tad oily on its own however, the vegetables are all crisp and delicious, and one serving is enough for an adult. You can add an egg or two and some soy sauce and sesame oil and if you like some chicken and it’s a great meal!

I will not buy this again. I was very surprised that this was only microwaveable. Since my family are meat eaters, I cooked a pound of shrimp in sesame oil. Then I microwaved four packages and mixed everything together. It was dry, bland and very few vegetables in the packages. I am stunned that this got such a high rating. Gross!

This is an amazing fast "take out" meal! I don't put it in the microwave. I put it in a skillet and add just a splash of water with low sodium soy sauce and red pepper! Yum! And whatever I feel like eating...shrimp...pork...chicken...whatever your heart desires!

We are not fans of frozen ready-to-eat foods, specifically because of the extra preservatives and the usually high sodium count. But every once in a while you just don't want to cook or get take-out. This Vegetable Chow Mein by Ajinomoto is a refreshing product in a sea of frozen garbage! And the price was good for the value and quantity. Yes, the sodium is slightly high per serving at 1100mg/48% daily value...which just means we have to watch our sodium intake for breakfast and dinner on the 3 days we had this for dinner. The frozen portion in small bags is deceiving and did not think it would satisfy us for dinner. However, once heated in the microwave and put in a dinner bowl, it turned into a bigger portion. The vegetables are fresh and the noodles are very tender. The whole dish is very tasty. We had a salad with it and it was the perfect dinner. Thank you!

In spite of the many positive reviews, my expectations were still not high for this frozen chow mein. Fortunately I was more than surprised to discover how well made this is. The noodles were nice and firm and were topped with a beautiful assortment of vegetables. It really was better than most of the take out places I frequent and reasonably priced as well. This is a happy solution to bringing lunch to work!

Bought this to cover my Panda Express cravings. The noodles are thicker than what they serve, they're thicker and seasoned well. Don't taste too salty in my opinion. This is good for a quick lunch/dinner, especially if paired with the MM orange chicken. One tip: to get more evenly cooked noodles, place a small amount of water under them before you microwave it. You'll get more evenly steamed noodles that way. The veggies will be limp though, not sure you can avoid that.

These are perfect for a "quick" meal. Sometimes, just heat as directed & eat as is. Sometimes I partially heat and then put in the fry pan with a bit of oil, add more veggies and some roasted chicken and stir fry; sometimes I add a little stir fry sauce. (Roasted chicken from Sam's, of course. I skin, debone and freeze pieces for meals like this!) Sometimes, I add some cooked medium shrimp. I love this product!

I buy these all of the time at Sam's. I add a little Sam's rotisserie chicken, chopped up, or peeled, cooked shrimp, or even a couple scrambled eggs, some sesame & chili oil & have a quick, delicious dinner in just a few minutes. I only gave it 4 stars because the noodles can get a tiny bit gummy, but the vegetables stay nice & crisp-tender.
