Too Short for soap or Bleach bottles
Whoever designed this never even tried to put any bottles or containers for laundry soap, Bleach, or Fabric softener in the drawers. How these made it to production is beyond me. If you see a display in store, try it first to see if anything you would normally store for doing laundry will fit before buying. Absolutely useless space under the washer and dryer. Unbelievable....

Waher installation problem due locking nut
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pedestal was fine but the installation of the washer was awful. I had to remove the locking nut on each adjustable foot so the washer mounting brackets line up with the pedestal's mounting bracket. T he instructions only require to retrack the feet completely without removing the locking nut.

Ok product, steep price point, wrong instructions

The washer came wish some of the included pedestal parts already attached, so it was confusing reading the instructions and trying to figure out where things went. Eventually we got it sorted and installed.

WDP6W review
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with with the storage space with the WDP6W. Although they have ample storage space I still can't fit the Bleach nor the Unstoppable pebbles. They are large containers so Didn't think they would fit anyway.
Pedestals not included in free install/haul away.

The order included free install and haul away for the washer and dryer but magically did not include free install for the pedestals and had to pay the third-party freight/install company out of pocket to get the pedestals installed. Terrible experience.

POOR DESIGN. Holes don't line up.
Forget that the drawers are so shallow, nothing stands in them. This doesn't fit a brand-new LG washer. I bought a brand new washer and dryer and then these pedestals as well. They are the correct pedestal for my new washer Model:WM6500HWA, but the holes don't line up unless you take the feet off the washer and remove one of the nuts. This is a complete pain given the washer is heavy and you don't discover this until you lift the thing onto the pedestal. I thought I was going crazy until I found several online with the exact same complaint. How does something like this pass QC? I just can't imagine why LG would make something like this that doesn't fit their own appliance. Either make the holes on the washer connection lower or raise these.

Horrible design
I bought the new LG Washer/dryer tower last month but the washer was so low that I bought the pedestal but what a shame in the design. It comes with the grooves for a divider but you only get a basket which is a complete waste. When the basket is in you can't get to the back of the drawer so you lose space but when you take the basket out you have no way to help hold up anything you put in there AND you can't even put a standard size laundry detergent in there. What a waste of money.
Hey there. We want to thank you for your feedback on your LG pedestal drawer. The pedestal is designed to give you that extra lift so you won't have to bend down to load and unload. The basket is great for storing items and certain detergents. The LG pedestal storage drawer is only compatible with our 27" front load washers and dryer. It's not compatible with the LG WashTowers due to its weight. ^David
Needs to be a little taller
The pedestal makes it much easier to load and unload the washer and dryer. One draw back to the pedestal drawer is the it is too shallow to close if you put the large bottles of soap and bleach in the drawer. So, the increased height of the washer and dryer is a plus, the shallow drawer is not very useful.
Don’t Buy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate these drawers. Liquid laundry detergent does not fit. Either does spray starch cans. Why wouldn’t you make these drawers deeper so things fit??? I already called LG and complained to no avail.

DISAPPOINTED
I purchased an LG pedestal in 2016 with my LG washer. My washer died in 2024 so I needed a new pedestal with it. The new design that includes the laundry basket is a loser. No one needs a laundry basket. They took away the divider in the drawer which made it great because it kept my stuff well organized. If you don't use the laundry basket, it's a jumbled up mess. I wish companies would quit redesigning things that work just for the sake of change. It's infuriating.
