[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've almost always eaten Kellogg cereals ... for as long as I can remember. Frosted Flakes are my first choice followed closely by Rice Krispies. The Flakes do not get overly soggy - even when I get distracted. I used to keep a helping at work for a snack. Yeah, lots of people don't like the sugar. But I enjoy the little sweetness. I'll always remember the jingle: "K-E-DOUBLE L, O-Double Good , Kellogs' best to you. Good morning!" I would often sing that jingle early in the morning to one of the ladies when she arrived at work. She was younger than me and did not recall hearing it before.

When you talk about comfort food it ranks at the top for me as I can reflect on having these flakes of sugar coated corn with family from my Grandmother to my Grandchildren. On a disappointment moment was when last year I sent my receipt for the BOWL redemption, where I had bought 4 boxes that I circled and I received a email saying 2 boxes must be purchased. After responding I never heard a thing until now 8/11 when they want me to review their product. Funny how businesses operate today.

As I grew older, the sweet cereals were replaced with "healthier" choices. Less sugar, more whole grains, fewer calories. Recently, we moved into my brother-in-law's house to help him through his hospice journey with cancer. Imagine my great surprise that the cereal he allowed himself as a special treat was Kellogg's Frosted Flakes. I now buy my KFF's with fond memories of my childhood and my brother-in-law Rick.
