I've had my Viseo TV for a few months. Just yesterday I plugged in an old CD/DVD drive to see if it would still work. The TV crackled and popped. The left side of the screen went white and the right side black, all in a second. Then it died. Do not try this trick at home!!! I don't know if this is a confession or a cautionary tale. I loved it and will miss it terribly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to buy the Vizio D-Series 24" HD Smart TV for my bedroom. I placed the TV on top of my small dresser, opposite the bed. At first, I thought the TV might be too small, but it's actually the perfect size, and fits with the scale of the other furniture in the room, and isn't too overwhelming. It's small enough that there's room for my lamp on top of the dresser, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had already registered our vizio purchase but I had to reset to factory settings to get the tv to play local channels through our cable box. Also periodically the volume doesn't work. We have changed batteries but seem the only way to fix this is to unplug and replug and keep trying

I primarily purchase my Vizio TV so I can play MP4 movies on the USB port. After a software upgrade my USB port no longer works. I called and talked to tech support and they told me that it is no longer a valid port for playing movies it is now a service port. Now I have a TV that works fine other than a USB port that is pretty much useless and that was why I bought this model because it claimed to be able to play USB MP4 movies so not very happy with this.

It's new enough that the warranty is still good at the moment, but I supposed myself when I actually realized I was telling other people that this Vizio smart tv was actually so good. I never really cared enough about that kind of thing to bring it up in a conversation though and my friends know that so we're somewhat shocked too. I would not be the tiniest bit surprised if that conversation is the actual reason 3 of the 5 people there when I brought it up now have Vizio Smart TVs! You could only really understand if you knew me though I guess, but, I am 99% positive those 3 people would have gotten not only a different brand if they weren't there that day, but would also bought something ridiculously, unecessarily bigger, spent more money and still wouldnt be as happy as they are with what they decided on..of course they did all have to purchase one at least a little bigger and newer&/or with something extra (not positive about each ones features completely), but most likely just to rub it in my face and try to make me jealous lol...didn't work tho. I end my review with I really should give this TV a five because most people as pleased with a product as I am with this would without a doubt give it a five...I'm weird and believe it's nearly impossible to give anything a "perfect" score, but im weird and again I'd have to Kno me. Oh, and I never EVER would take the time to fill something like this out either because even if there really is a prize and I was the random one to win it...I'd never believe it was real n still wouldn't do anything to get it actually believing I won so that is just one more thing showing how I really feel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgrade from a Roku TV. To a Vizio TV and the difference is outstanding. You can really hear this tv. The image quality is amazing. Love the different setting it has for different shows you’re watching. Nonetheless we love it, hope to get something bigger for my family in the future. Thank you for a great product!

PROs - Great Picture and sound quality. Love the integrated Chrome Cast. Con - Bought this tv specifically to watch ESPN Game Day In the Sun Room on Saturday Mornings while having coffee. Very disappointed to realize that Tv Does not come with the ESPN app and that there is no way to download the app directly to this TV. Yes you can cast the app but as we are all aware inevitably the cast will fail at the most crucial moment of any broadcast. I would recommend to a friend based on quality, but would strongly suggest reviewing available apps to make sure it meets their needs.

I had some connectivity issues for a bit, but I got them sorted out and haven't had any issues since. However, the speaker/audio quality on this TV is TERRIBLE and rattles pretty bad if it's turned up to 20 or higher.. luckily, I only use it for the bedroom and don't need it very loud.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vizio televisions are so easy to install and use, I just love them and they are my new brand of televisions that I gravitate to every time I am in need of a new TV. I love their SmartCast screen where they display everything that they offer, which includes many free channels. I have totally abandoned my previous brand and, believe me, I used to be a die-hard fan of this other brand, but that is no longer the case because I discovered and love Vizio now and forever.
