[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a refurbished Deebot, but you would never know it wasn't "new". We have a dog and cat in the house and my cat allergy stays under control as long as I vacuum and dust a few times a week, which I don't have time to do. We also track a lot of dust and leaves in so the floors seem to be dirty right after cleaning them. My daughter got me the Deebot for Mother's Day and it was the best gift that keeps on giving. In the past two weeks I have not had to sweep or vacuum because Deebot does it for me and my floors always look clean! I have it scheduled to clean at 7am and 7pm, it runs for an hour and a half each time before the battery runs low.
Deebot goes everywhere and will even fit under my tables and the edge of cabinets; I am beyond excited that it can get in the places that my vacuum can't, like under the bed, so I don't have to move furniture. It goes from hard floor to throw rugs and onto carpet effortlessly. When it goes onto the throw rugs sometimes it will flip the edge as it goes on but it knocks it back flat when it comes off the rug. Sometimes it will get trapped in a small space or get tangled in cords, but that's not its fault, we just make sure the cords are tucked away where it won't run over them, we would have to do the same with a push vacuum. I like that it can see when there is an obsitcle in front of it, it will pause and turn to go around it. It seems to be able to sense when it is near walls and the outer edge of a room and it will clean along the edges. I have to empty it every other day, but it is mostly pet hair, so if you don't have pet hair you would be good to empty it once a week or maybe even less.
I am still learning all of the options and settings, but I am content with the fact it cleans the floors for me. Sometimes it will need help finding other rooms and other times it will make it to every room in the hour and a half timeframe. Also, sometimes it needs help getting home. It seems to need to be close to the base before it can connect to go home. If you let the battery get too low it will also struggle to find its base. I wish it would follow a set path like back and forth instead of random patterns, but it still works really well so I don't mind. I have not had any issues with it communicating with Alexa and the App and Deebot were easy to set up for wifi and Alexa.
Overall I am happy with my Deebot and not only would I reccomend it to others, but I am considering buying another one for my craft shed. Everything has positives and negitives, but I would say it is a good product for the price, even as a refurbished product.
