Amazing Instructions

We finally finished building our playset and overall the process was easy. The instructions came in the form of a book and a 3D app. Both pieces were very necessary and made installation a breeze. We completed the playset in 11 hours despite the 10 hour timeframe it should have taken because we needed to improvise on the installation of the three seats due to the holes in the L-brackets not being big enough to fit the screws. This was a major headache but otherwise all parts and instructions were easy. It was a fun project for my husband and I. Note: as mentioned we do enjoy these types of projects together. We already had many of the tools and building things comes easy to us. I would not recommend self installation for those who do not fit this description.

Satisfied, Grandkids love it, but some issues

First of all go into this playset with eyes open - it is very labor intensive and having skilled people assist is the key. I am am experienced DIYer with decks and remodels in every room of house under belt. Had another remodeler and 2 other good adult helpers for the build - make it a work day and its doable. Also had a helper that pre-staged pieces for next step before we needed them - staying one step ahead allowed us build without constant start and stop of looking for pieces. We did the main build in approx 10 hours (with a couple of breaks). Quality of lumber was ok - not great but not horrible. Encountered two split boards but they were essentially trim pieces so we were able to work around until replacements arrive. Note - if time is limited (i.e. you only have helpers for X number of hours... ) you can skip from Step 53 to 70 ... that allows you to get the major portions done and come back to buiding the little tables and benches... I know that isnt the recommended sequence because the instructions have you finish the entire fort including the benches and tables before getting to the rest (ladder, slide, swing beam etc) - but i skipped because i was losing daylight and helpers. The set is fun though and the grandkids love it- the end product i am satisfied. The instructions at times are not the easiest - requires at times you figuring out what they are trying to get you to do - but its easy enough as long as take time and make sure you understand. The splits in boards and some chips from shipping and pre-drilling at manufacturing were disappointing but expected. Don't get stressed or overwhelmed - understand that it isnt perfect and depending on some of the slight miscues to be expected in the pre-drilling and other manufacturing processes - some slight loosening and adjustments are required. Stay patient and work through it and it works out. It can be frustrating but it is manageable. Again - I understand that skipping steps is NOT recommended - but just giving a tip since real life happens and doesnt always allow for everything to go according to best made plans.

Great Swingset for a great price !

I shopped around a lot before purchasing this swingset. My grandchildren love it . They are too small for the swings that came with the swingset so I purchased toddler/safety swings separately. I put the swings that came with it up for when they are older. I paid the extra fee for delivery and set up and it was well worth it ! The man that came to my house had this completely set up in about 3 hours. He said he has been doing this for years. He was polite, on time, set up the swingset and went onto his next job. This seems to be very well made and is an excellent swingset and the price was better than most others I have seen with less neat stuff !

Great quality, easy but slow assembly

Our granddaughters love their "Fort" as they call it. The little picnic tables are a great feature to have a snack. Assembly was easy but time consuming. Instructions were clear and detailed. It definitely will require two adults. Looks great! Interested to see how it weathers.

Swing set

We purchased the swingset about a year ago. It has been a lifesaver especially last year when public playgrounds were closed down due to the pandemic. My boys love the swings and my oldest loves climbing the rock wall. They use the clubhouse part for imaginative play. We look forward to many years of play in this swingset.

Not bad assembly

At first getting 3 boxes of parts was overwhelming, but after reading the instructions it really wasn't that bad. It literally takes you through a step at a time and the parts are all labeled clearly. Took 2 adults around 10 hours like the instructions stated. Kids love it!!

Good playground

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [Employee of backyarddiscovery] I bought this over the summer and it working good so far. I am a bit worried how long this will hold up for my son who is currently 4, hoping it last at least 5 years

Sturdy

We've had this almost a year now and it seems pretty sturdy. Hasn't fade too much. The swings hold myself and my child. Simple to assemble
