Can't push TV tightly against the wall

TV sticks out and isn't tight against the wall. Can see the whole bracket from the side

misrepresentation

This item is suggested with the purchase of a 87 in. tv. It WILL NOT fit as suggested by the description to fit even larger tvs than the 87 in. This is not true it will not fit I had to cut the mounting bar in half and put both halves on a separate board.

This TV mount is compatible with wood studs ranging from 8" to 24". If your wood stud falls within this range, the mount should work perfectly. Since you have cut the mounting bar in half, please ensure you use 4 screws on each mounting bar to securely attach it to the wood stud. This is important for keeping the TV safe. Not a Good Choice

I would not recommend this tv wall mount, especially for large TV's. This includes those 83" and larger. I helped my friend mount his TV using this mount. Despite the TV being well within the weight / size specifications for this mount, the mounting plate flexes significantly. The biggest issue is, the leveling mechanism is very awkward, causing the installer to have to lift the tv to relieve pleasure when making adjustments, but WATCHOUT, if you lift too much, the mounding bracket could disconnect from the mounting plate!! The spring load catches at the bottom of the backets allow this to happen. This is dangerous and has the potential of destroying your tv and anything it hits on the way down!

This TV mount is compatible for 98 in. TVs with maximum VESA mounting hole of 600x400mm and maximum loading capacity 150 lbs. If your TV is within this range, then it will work fine. When adjusting the post-levelling, please extend the bracket and adjust the bolt on top, no need to lift the bracket or TV. Great wall mount for my 65" TV

This is a great item. Easy to install and fits close to the wall. The levels that came with the product ensured that I mounted the TV very level. I'd highly recommend this item and I'm going to buy another one for my other TV.

Wrong Description in Online Store

Unlike its description (TV 32"-98"), this TV mount By Member's Mark Item # 990289299 Model # XD2106 is really for TVs 32"-90" ONLY per the box description. I just wasted my time buying it online and going to SamsClub to pick it up. (115)

Catastrophic Failure

My brother bought this and a 55" from Sam's for her birthday. Installing was ok though the stud finder that comes with the kit was garbage. I used my own and we got the TV setup. 3 weeks later it fell from the wall and the TV was destroyed.

Not Worth It

It was hard to set up. Didn't have much tilt. Eventually it loosened & the TV fell. Some might think it was a rookie mistake or that I dont know what Im doing, but neither are accurate. I have worked construction, not to mention that I have successfully installed all TVs
