Because the Elite Collection laminates are thicker than most, the planks can be a bit more difficult to click because they aren't as flexible as thinner laminates. For that reason, it is very important to follow the instructions on the installation guide as well as watching the installation video before installing the product to avoid damaging the planks. Hello, Thank you for posting a review. It is great to hear that you love the look of the Driftwood laminate. We recommend that variations in the subfloor flatness should not exceed 1/16 in. per 3 ft (2 mm/m). If there is more variation than this, it can make the installation process more difficult and put more stress on the locking system.
