These need to be about 1/2 an inch longer to fit the stainless Bentgo lunchboxes Sam's sells without risking tearing the liner of the lunch bag. These comfortably fit the plastic lunchboxes, but no one wants to use plastic anymore. The insulation on these is good with the ice packs it comes with, and I really like that it's expandable. The ice pack is great and moves this from 3 stars to 4. The ice pack itself is 5 stars. I have several now from buying these lunchboxes over the years and they have all held up well. These bags hold up moderately well to my rather destructive little boy (another reason we use the stainless lunchboxes). I'd just like to NOT have to replace the lunch bag every year and add to the millions of lunch bags already in landfills and continually decrease my bank account to buy yet another lunchbag. The mesh usually rips within the first month, and the metallic liner starts to get small tears by Christmas, even when we were using the small Bentgo boxes that didn't stress the liner at all. The bag still continues to work well enough for the rest of the year though, I think because of the stellar ice pack it comes with. I send chicken salad sandwiches to school with my son, so I use two of these brand ice packs and even after the inside liner starts to get small tears, my son's leftovers are still cold enough to eat when he gets home, so that's about 7 am to 4 pm, and everything still feels fridge cold, though that is with two of the ice packs. We never use the water bottle it comes with. That's junk. The containers get used for random things but we don't use them in the lunchbox so I can't judge how well they contain leaks. We use them for Legos etc. Overall, this is a good lunchbag for the price in this society where we accept that we will have to replace pretty much everything we buy within a year or two and prices are ridiculous on most things. I like these lunch bags but I hope they improve them by increasing the length a little and improving durability.

I'm quite pleased with its performance. The standout feature of this lunch bag is its lid that flips open to a deep and well-insulated compartment, making it exceptionally easy to access my meals. The insulation keeps my food cold for several hours, especially when paired with ice packs, which is great for long work days. The exterior of the bag is rugged and has held up well against daily wear and tear. I also appreciate the adjustable shoulder strap for easy carrying. The additional storage pockets on the exterior are useful for holding extra snacks or small personal items, though I do wish these pockets were a bit more spacious. My only slight disappointment is that the plastic interior can be a bit tricky to clean if any spills occur, as liquids can seep into the crevices. However, regular maintenance and careful packing can mitigate this issue.
