Terrible

This beer isn’t worthy of the name that made you famous. I followed Fat Tire as it made its way East, and on more than one occasion carried it home in a 6 pack. This lacks the bold and flavor of the original Fat Tire. You might as well drink Bud Light.

Change IS good!

I've enjoyed Fat Tire Ale since it came out but over the years my tastes and preferences have changed. When I heard there was going to be a change in the recipe I was worried it was going to ruin a great beer. After trying the new Fat Tire Ale I was pleasantly surprised! It's a bit less heavy and dark as before and aligns more with my current taste likings. It's hard to find a good, solid beer that you can consider you're "ol faithful" but Fat Tire Ale is that beer.

It’s a classic for a reason

The original, the ubiquitous, the absolutely delicious Fat Tire is a classic for a reason. So much flavor, love the roasty, toasty aroma, and it’s smooth. People talk about “gateway” beers—beers that showed you that beer could be more than just what is advertised in the big spendy commercials. Fat Tire was my gateway beer. It’s a tried and true standard—always delicious, no matter how many times I’ve had it.

Great beer, great company

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This is a good basic beer. It has a little bit of the hoppy, bitter taste at the end. It definitely tastes full bodies and watered down. They are a certified B corporation, which I find very important and positive.

Easy to drink

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Fat Tire Beer is a favorite of mine because it's easy to drink and very balanced. I tend to prefer lighter beers and this one pairs well with meals and is a great choice to bring to social gatherings. I think this is an easy choice if you're looking for a beer because it's refreshing, light and tasty.

One of the only beers I will drink

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. What do I tell you about the classic that is New Belgium's Fat Tire Ale? Well, I'll let you know first of all that I am not a "craft beer connoisseur". I can't tell you about hoppiness, or notes of certain flavors or whatnot... I can only tell you about taste. Fat Tire tastes good. It's one of the only beers I can actually stomach. See, I think most beer tastes like, well, the fluid that comes out of most living creatures. You know, the fluid that makes yellow snow? Yeah, that's what I think most beers taste like. New Belgium's Fat Tire Ale doesn't taste like that. It tastes like beer. Good beer. Perfect for a hot summer's day. Perfect for grillin' and chillin'. Perfect for the first day of autumn. However and wherever you like to enjoy a cold one, Fat Tire was made for that. Not to mention you can feel better about yourself while drinking Fat Tire, because it's carbon neutral. If something being carbon neutral doesn't matter to you, then just drink it because it tastes good. Impress your friends, and drink something that is just fancy enough, but not too fancy. Definitely give Fat Tire a try - if I like it, there is a chance most people will.

Too strong of a Hops blend

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The flat tire L has a very strong flavor. I liked their mission statement, but did not like the placement of the mission statement on the bottom of the carton. I did not like the flavor of this beer. It's very yeast forward.

Kinda Hoppy for an Ale

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This beer is crisp, full-bodied, and happy for an ale. The packaging might need some help, as it was falling apart while carrying it from the store to the car. I don't think I'd buy it again over other beers.

Better than I expected

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I honestly felt like I was going to be let down by this product and it wasn't going to reach my expectations. I was wrong. This ale reminds me of another ale that I like but this ale seems like it better and more refined, the flavor is crisp, and the aftertaste is actually enjoyable. The packaging is simple, I hope they are true to low impact on the environmental, it makes me feel just a tad better that I'm buying something that has a low impact on the environment. I recommend this product if you are looking for something crisp and a drink to relax with

A classic for a reason!

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This is truly the definition of an easy-drinking beer. Great flavor, but balanced, and not overpowering. I tend to be an IPA drinker, with lagers being a little too light for me. Fat tire is a great middle ground, with a richer flavor than a lager, but still light enough to drink casually. Slightly malty flavor, but not overwhelming or sweet. It's definitely a classic for a reason, and the flavor holds up to the reputation!
