Product is very easy to work with. Installed two rooms total 470 sq ft. bought 39 boxes ( one extra for waste and cuts) Didn't need it and took it back! This flooring looks incredible! Quality product, glad I tried it...instead of the other box stores and flooring stores. We are going to pick some out for a couple of bedrooms next! I priced all the flooring stores, the big chain hardware stores and came back to this. This is LIFETIME residential, water proof, premium flooring that costs less than the cheaper brands and choices from those other stores that aren't even foam backed.

This was our first time purchasing and installing flooring. Our experience with Select Surfaces was excellent. From selection to delivery, installation to finishing, the product and company behind it are outstanding. We have stairs in our house as well and the staircase trim looks beautiful. Our DIY installation process was easy and the finished result looks beautiful.

I bought this flooring because of the 14mm and also the quality of the product. This product comes from Germany and it is awesome. The pictures don't do it justice. It is one of the best things we installed.

We had this installed recently. We absolutely love it. We are getting used to it sounding louder than carpet, but definitely easier to clean. We were surprised that we had a hard time locating someone it install this product. Apparently installers only want to install the product they sell. The installer said it was easy to install with very little waste.

After looking at LOTS of different options for new flooring, including paying a national flooring company to bring in workers to have it completed in a "few days", my wife and I decided to put in Sam's Caramel Select Surface laminate flooring ourselves. Over 1600 sq. ft. worth of flooring, over ten thousand dollars in savings compared to retail installers, and 7 individual works days later (only experience with flooring was about a decade ago helping her parents, so we aren't professionals by any stretch), it looks amazing and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Thank you Sams for a great product.

We have installed 650 sq ft and have 240 sq ft to go. The flooring is beautiful and easy to install. I am 67 and my husband is 69; since he is unable to get down on the floor he cut the boards as I needed them and I put the floor down. If I can do it I am sure anyone can.

Not only is caramel my favorite candy, but it is now my favorite floor! Installation was quick and easy and the result is perfect for my home.

Installed approximately 4600 Sqft of this flooring across my entire office, very satisfied with the quality and ease of installation. The fact that it is 14mm thick and comes with pad is the key to my purchase. To buy pad or underlayment is apprximately .60 sqft, so this is a huge savings in itself. The carmel color once down, appears to be a little lighter or muted in color than in the online photo. Overall I beleive it will hold up much better than the thinner laminate, and I can already say it is solid and quiet when being walked on.

I like the flooring, which is currently in my bedrooms. It looks great. The problem is the color I chose Caramel is no longer carried by Sam's . Now I have a problem, given that I want to use it in other rooms and it's no longer available. It was available a fairly short time. I guess if you can't afford to buy your flooring all at once, don't get it at Sam's.

The padding on the planks was not centered. Many of the boxes had wood that was split on the ends. Our installers did a wonderful job but had to do a lot of trimming off the ends due to wood splintering. They also had difficulty making them fit due to padding being off center. It took them 2 whole days to complete a job they said should have taken less than a day. Have three boxes of wood left that could not be returned because they were open but unable to be used because the planks were in such bad shape.
