Had one before and when I made the rod smaller it would rust inside and and you could never extend it again , I bought another one cause of the price but I’ll never make the rod short it will allways be in the full extended position, over all not a great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This telescoping snow remover is just what I needed for my new SUV that I just bought. The windshield is slightly out of reach for conventional scrapers, so this extending handle is amazing and the brush is so soft I don't have to worry about scratching my new car!

I bought two. Neither one of them could be extended. Returned them both. I read in other reviews that they were hard to extend the first time but once you got them extended they were OK. Other people said they weren't ok once you got them extended that some people found they wouldn't stay extended or after they got cold they couldn't be extended anymore. I also read somewhere that the manufacturer admitted it was a defect that they were so hard to extend initially. Well it's plastic and foam and screwed in so it's not like standing on the brush part and pulling up to get it extended is a good idea. Maybe if you are really strong or have two people to pull on the rod you can get it extended. My thinking is when it's brand new, clean, dry and at room temperature it ought to extend and collapse easily. If it doesn't wok well under those ideal conditions I'm not keeping it.

This item was of very poor quality. I received it and after attaching the handle according to instructions, I could not get the handle to expand. When my son-in-law was able to expand the handle, we could not get it to twist tight to secure it so it would stay in place. Unfortunately, this was the second or third snow broom I had purchased, two last year that were defective, and now this one. I returned it to the store for a refund and would not recommend this item to anyone. I have since bought another snow broom from somewhere else that works right. It is not the same brand but it is like the snow broom I returned with a foam sweeper and expanding handle.

I was introduced to one of these by a coworker when leaving work during a snowstorm. I couldn't find my snowbrush in my car so my coworker let me use the snow broom.. it took me about 1 minute to clean off my entire car and it had over 6" of snow. I didn't have to worry about scratching my car and I was able to stand way back from the car to avoid getting snow on me due to the land sturdy handle. I was so happy with it that I went on a hunt to find one for my husband, and of course I had to get me one too!

During test drives I asked the dealerships how they cleared snow from cars without scratching the paint. Every dealership uses this product and every salesman has one on their own cars too. For anyone living up north with a dark color car, this is a must have product. Very pleased!

The snow broom from Walmart is a great product at a great price. If you live where it snows, its a must have item. After using it you'll wish you got one a long time ago.

Much better than using a broom-Good width & length-Breaks down to a convenient size for storage-The ice scraper on other end is useless & more of a hindrance as it kept coming off so I left it off, if not for that I would give it 5 stars

It is as I expected although I haven t had a chance to use it yet. I put the handle on now I can t get it back off for storage. Maybe Im just not strong enough.

So perfect for me. I am 5’2” and I can easily clear off my entire Civic in hardly no time. My clothes and shoes stay dry! So much better for my car and I than the old scraper and brush!!
