I have an SUV, so need a telescoping wand to clean off the top of my vehicle. It was very easy to put together and also extend the wand. Today is the first day I had the opportunity to actually use it and it worked great. We had about 2 " of heavy wet snow and it was very easy to drag the snow off the top of my SUV.

Pros: I have used this three to four times now. It's very efficient in clearing out 3-4 inches of soft - medium hard snow. It takes under 5 minutes to completely remove all the snow. And the car is almost clear of any snow. Cons: The extension handle is a little tricky to get working. I couldn't figure it out and frankly when you are in a hurry, it just doesn't matter. The body of the snow broom (the blue thing in the image) is made of thermocol. Though it's not broken yet, i'm not sure how long it'll last or if it will be able to remove snow if the upper layer of snow has hardned. The ice scraper is a good tool so you can use it for small places where the other big broom is too big or for hardned ice. If the broom was made of rubber, or a sturdier material, it would be nice (not too hard to damage the car though). I would still recommend this for it's efficiency and hoping it'll last a few winters.

Had one before and when I made the rod smaller it would rust inside and and you could never extend it again , I bought another one cause of the price but I’ll never make the rod short it will allways be in the full extended position, over all not a great product

Last year I purchased serveral as gifts and one for myself. Another friend saw me use this and asked where to buy it. I purchased one for him as a b-day gift and he couldn't be more pleased. It's the right size, easily cleans off car tops, convenient and the handle screws off to store in the trunck.

This item was of very poor quality. I received it and after attaching the handle according to instructions, I could not get the handle to expand. When my son-in-law was able to expand the handle, we could not get it to twist tight to secure it so it would stay in place. Unfortunately, this was the second or third snow broom I had purchased, two last year that were defective, and now this one. I returned it to the store for a refund and would not recommend this item to anyone. I have since bought another snow broom from somewhere else that works right. It is not the same brand but it is like the snow broom I returned with a foam sweeper and expanding handle.

I bought two Snow Brooms. On one the handle won't lock when extended. The other locks perfectly. The one that extends works great on our SUV. The broken one I use on my small car so at least I'm able to use it. The snow broom is worth getting since it pushes (or pulls) the snow off like a squeegee without having to go over the same spots multiple times like you do with a regular brush.

I bought this product because I use to use a similar product when I worked for car dealerships. It works great to get the snow off fast. Espically deep snow. The ice scraper side is a nice option also. The only problem I had was getting the telescope handle to work. Once I got it to extend and lunbercated it it worked great. I also like that it comes apart for easy storage. I would recommend this product to everyone.

Feels a little flimsy, and the twist-to-lock mechanism gets a little difficult to use if you leave any snow on the handle before you collapse it, as it can melt and freeze and leave you with a much shorter Snow Broom. I always worry that the connection where there scraper is attached will break, but it seems to have held up pretty well so far (used all of winter 2013-14 and 2014 so far). The other cause for concern that I have is that if you live somewhere that goes above and below freezing, which creates that rough little ice layer on your car, you'll end up grating the edge of the foam piece right off, revealing some tougher, rougher foam underneath. I've lost most of the edge on mine so far. If I can update this later with a picture, I'll try to add one. All in all, it's a great tool. Didn't realize how quickly I could clear a car until I cleared off my girlfriend's with that 8" brush that she has... seemed to take a lifetime compared to using the Snow Broom on my car. I'm just a little disappointed by the durability, but I guess I should have expected that from the get-go. It's foam, and that sharp, rough ice will definitely tear it. Last tip - if you're going to set it in your car, try to set the foam on a plastic floor mat or something. I had mine in my trunk, and it was a little wet, then froze to the carpet/liner in my trunk, and left a nice line of blue foam there when I pulled it away.

The snow joe broom works great very lightweight and easy to handle. The only drawback is the material is not durable. The blue is already peeling and showing scuffs pieces of material coming off after only one use. They need to make a more tough material thicker plastic something. It will probably last a season but it works great.

We have had a very snowy, icy winter. The telescoping snow broom has made cleaning my car very easy. I rarely find it necessary to walk to the other side of the car to clean it. It can be done from one side except in extreme ice buildup. The only problem I found is that the handle loosens from the broom while using. However, I would still buy it again. I bought 2 and gave one to my daughter who loves it.
