my husband purchased this washer and dryer combo set. this is one of the best washer and dryer combo sets that i have ever owned. i love using the washing machine and i love using the dryer. they are the right size for me to reach within them. they are absolutely perfect!

It’s one of those appliances that does its job really well but also makes life easier in ways I hadn’t thought of before. First off, the heat pump technology is a huge win. It reuses heat instead of creating it from scratch every time, which makes a real difference in energy use. Not only is it better for the environment, but it’s great for the electric bill too. Now, the real treat is the SmartThings app integration. I can control the dryer from my phone, which has been surprisingly handy. No more running back and forth to check if a load is done – the app notifies me as soon as it’s finished. I can start, stop, or change settings from anywhere, which means I don’t have to be home (or even in the laundry room) to keep things moving. Plus, the app remembers my preferred cycles, so if I regularly dry towels or delicates, it’ll recommend the best settings. It’s also a quiet machine, which is nice. I have been able to dry large quantities of clothes with this dryer without having to increase dry time or start another dry cycle due to all the clothes not being dry. It is completely quiet when in use and the tone sounds that are heard from selecting an option or turning the knob is nice. I enjoy being able to select my own dry time and even increase the tie it takes to dry my clothes, the Quick Dry feature is my favorite because I don't have to wait for hour(s) or even lengthy minutes to get my clothes dry. The drum is large and being able to see inside by using the drum light is a very nice feature. I like the notification sound the dryer makes when my clothes are dry, the moisture sensor is an added bonus which ensures my clothes won't be over dry or damp when the cycle is complete. I like the sanitize feature which keeps the dryer free from smells and must odors, using this keeps me from doing the unwanted cleaning of the unit after several uses. I like the wrinkle free feature which keeps my clothes from coming out the dryer like crumpled up paper which eliminates me from having to iron every article that comes out when done. This dryer gets a 10 out of 10 from me, the many options, large size, efficient use and silence when in use are all top of the line benefits of using/owning this dryer. Samsung really took their time and designed this dryer with the customer in mind. I thoroughly enjoy washing/drying my clothes now and feel in complete control of my laundry tasks. Only thing I don't like is the door sticking out and not flat with the dryer. I can't close my doors on the laundry space. Only thing I don't like.

When I set the timer to dry clothes it will run it’s time and finish when it’s supposed to or even faster. The dryer is easy to operate plus the filter is easy to come out and clean all the lint. This device is also big in size to load after the washer and there is no problem when finished drying. When the clothes are finished drying, they come out with no wrinkles. The Samsung dryer has a knob to choose the different drying cycles and a digital display. I highly recommend the dryer to other customers that want to purchase a great quality product.

The led light is very well lit and a great design. The inside light is great to see all the clothes in the dryer. Especially those pesky socks that get lost. It is super simple to operate. The quick dry is perfect to quickly dry a shirt or pants when you are in a hurry. Time dry is perfect when i want to be in control of how much time it takes to dry my clothes. The sanitize option gets rid of any odors and smells that linger and will make sure my dryer is at its best it can be. The melody it makes when its done is so cute and i am getting used to it. My previoys dryer had no sound at all when it was done. The dryer is definitely a eleven out of ten. It exceeds all my expectations and would recommend this to anyone looking for a superb dryer that works great. Every part of this dryer is my favorite.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung's Large Capacity Ventless Hybrid Heat Pump Electric Dryer with Wi-Fi (DV45DG6000HWA2) is a welcome addition to an aging laundry room. This dryer was made with large families and exhausted parents in clear focus! I love that I can just throw the clothes from the washer in, and trust it to have the right settings to dry without much more than hitting "start". If we had an upstairs closet, the ventless option here would warrant serious consideration for us bringing it there, so the family could easily pull items as needed. Since there is no vent, the water tank becomes the only hassle - but its not much of one - it requires a bit of care if you don't have an adjacent bathroom or laundry sink, since it is about 2.5' long. As others have said, it would have been a great option to have a setting to push the water out an optional hose (since it likely shares a room with your washer & the drain is most likely there already! My other suggestion is a better lint trap - this does a good job of collecting lint; however, the booklet design of nested filters makes cleaning it out a hassle vs older dryers where you could merely roll up the accumulated lint from the single-sheet mesh screen without ever leaving the dryer For each of these i'd deduct one star; however for the ease and benefit of the mobile application, energy monitoring/savings, and sensor drying, it grabs some back. I'm giving this 4.5/5 stars - only because it's such an obvious benefit that could have been realized to flush the tank automatically, does it not quite gain back the last half star. Otherwise, I'm happy with this upgrade to the look, feel, and intelligence of the laundry room!

We have had to call for service twice because the drum belt kept falling off. The first time, there seemed to be a little piece of tape holding the tension wheel in place on the motor. the second time, the repairman stated that the belt had been frayed as if it were a 5-10 year-old belt.
