[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a little confusing trying to figure out that the stakes were located inside of the lights. They do come with batteries already installed and at first we thought that we needed to purchase more batteries for the kights, but it was the instructions telling you how to change it. The provide lots of light in the path and are great quality. I think you only need to worry abou the battery maintaining itself when temperatures plummet in the winter.

This set of six Westinghouse LED Solar Path Lights (30 Lumens) are exceptionally bright for solar path lights. They cast a lovely pattern across a good portion of my yard and add an elegant finishing touch to the landscaping. After a full day of summer sunlight, they stay on for about eight hours and last through the night. They have also continued to charge and shine just as brightly after cloudy days. All six worked consistently right out of the box, automatically turning on at dusk and off at dawn. The plastic feels sturdy and good quality, and the stakes keep the lights securely in the ground. Assembly was easy, although it helps to make a hole before pushing in the plastic stake, especially if the ground has thick grass, hard soil, or roots. They have one brightness level and no alternate lighting modes, but the nice white light is more than bright enough for my yard. The reflective chrome inside the lantern helps enhance the light, although it can also reflect sunlight toward you during the day if you are sitting nearby. So far, they have handled several minor rainstorms without leaking or developing any problems. I have not tested them in a major downpour, and I plan to bring them indoors during freezing temperatures and snow. Overall, I am very pleased with their brightness, quality, and appearance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These solar lights couldn’t be easier to install. Each light breaks into 3 pieces: the stake, the housing and the solar cap/light. You drive the stake into the ground where you’d like it and there are holes for pins if you want to anchor it. Remove the solar cap from the housing and click it “on”. Place the cap back on the housing and you are good to go. The ability to remove the housing makes it easy to light shady areas. Pop the housing off the stakes, place them in the sun to collect the sun and put them back for nightfall. They are much brighter than expected and feel like they will stand the test of time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These solar boundary lights rock for my driveway perimeter! They are super simple to install—a rubber mallet is all I needed to push the base stakes through my gravel driveway, but if you're working with soft soil no tool is needed. They get plenty of charge even in minor shade with their large full-frame panels and last all night here in summer weather. The curved mirror design lights up a pretty large omni-directional area around each pathlight which really helps with backing my old pickup at night. The frame build quality isn't anything to write home about, but I wasn't expecting stainless steel and they don't need to be for their intended purposes.

Loved the look but wont last as water gets inside! We've had rain and the water full submerges the light then it rusted out and quit working. Only lasted 2 weeks! Had to contact Westinghouse to do a warranty claim.

Don’t buy them!!! Purchased twelve three months back and now only two are functioning… major issue with these lights are they are not sealed properly to keep rain water out. $100.00 dollars spent for them and they didn’t last four months.

These things were awesome when we first got them. You have to turn them on (which is not included in the instructions), so they were great once we figured that out. I almost gave them 5 stars, but I waited. We got rain after about two weeks, and it knocked out 2-3 of our lights. Now, after a few more storms, we only have 2-3 lights that work. I think I bought 24 of them and put them out 3 months ago. So that's about a pretty high rate of failure. Disappointing for an "outdoor" light. Don't buy these unless you live where it never rains.

They were set out for over 2 days and the never came on!

loved it at first, very cute, exactly what i wanted, until it got rained on. i bought 2 sets, out of 12 lights 7 went out. couple got water in the bulb, rest of them just died. Returned it.

The quality and design of these lights is subpar. All parts are plastic and cheap. 1 of the lights stopped working after two days. After a couple of months the rest are dim or out. Water gets into the enclosure and in to the bulb housing itself. I recommend spending a little more and get a product that will at least last a couple of seasons.
