Great family time, played all night, hours of fun. Made family game night a blast. The game played up to 4 players. Highly recommend joy cons with motion sensor, for maxium game experience to be able to play all mini games. It also works with Switch Pro controller, but limits some mini games. Definitely will be playing every weekend with the kids. ❤️😃

Family fun game. Mario party games are always fun. We own a few of them. My grandson %26 I play together. Like the new islands introduced %26 new characters to play. Seems the more you play others will be added. I see a place for Pauline %26 can’t remember which other character.

I love the Mario party franchise and this game does not disappoint! It brings some fun new rhythm minigames and a new take on some of the older games as well, I also love the way they styled the solo player mode on this one, its more fun playing with others but also worth playing solo now and then.

As the item, in short, it arrived as I was hoping and came in the case with a cartridge. Not damaged, even arrived somewhat early. The actual game itself is a very fun Mario Party Game with new boards, lots of characters, and a fun new Jamboree buddy mechanic. The game is very fun to play with friends in person. I have not had a chance to test put the online-exclusive features yet, but that is the only way to play with more than 4 people. Local play is still a maximum of 4 people. The turns in the gane take longer, so to really enjoy a full game, you want at least 2 hours to play a 15-turn game with 4 people. I highly recommend sticking to the Basic Switch Joycons to play the game so that you can include the motion-control games. If that isn't preferred, use a Switch Pro controller. You can turn the motion-control mini games off to avoid issues. DO NOT play with Gamecube adapter controllers (I learned this the hard way, trust me). Several of the mini games require pushing the buttons in a specific order and reference them by their position on the Switch controller. The mental adjustment to Gamecube button placement will result in losing those games to anyone using switch controllers. Great option for a family game. Children and adults alike can enjoy this game. Whether you play for casual fun or for people wanting to play more competitively, there is a way for you. There is a special mode that you can play called "Pro" mode that adds a lot of changes to the game that are too detailed to list fully here, but they take away some of the probability, and ads a lot more skill-base play. It's completely optional to use but adds more to the game. This is the most recent of 3 Mario Party Games on the Nintendo Switch.

Fun game to play with friends and family. Has an interesting story mode that mixes the gameplay elements from Mario Party 9 and 10 by reintroducing the Mini stars. Plus the game feels like a mix of the last two Mario Parties. So if you have a favorite between the two you should enjoy this game.

We have played every day since Christmas, it is so much fun! Anyone can play it-they also have a setting where you can start certain players with a number of stars so it gives them a head start. I don’t even have to do that with my four year old anymore-he’s won a few times on his own! I think this was my favorite holiday purchase.

Fantastic game! Out of all the Mario Party games on the Switch, this one is the most unique and tons of fun! Definitely give it a try! I just wished we could play with multiple players on the same console in Bowser’s Kaboom Squad and Koopathlon. You can only play offline with CPU opponents or online with other players. I want to battle the people sitting right next to me on the same console! 😭

I intended to order a different game and in the search on my mobile it did not open the correct item. As it turns out, I think what I got is still going to be good and I’m sure I could still return it if the person receiving it as a gift didn’t like it. I searched for my item, clicked the image, added to my cart and purchased in less than a few minutes. It was my fault for not double checking before I completed the order.

Absolutely love this game. I am 46 years old and I am not ashamed to game with my kids/grandkid. This is my go to for my pastime and wanting to just kick back. Graphics are excellent, the ease of the game is phenomenal, and who can go wrong with any Mario game?!

I do want to note that it doesn't have a lot of games like previous Mario parties and each game typically last around an hour just keep that in mind other than that it's really fun with four players.
