We picked up 3 veggie trays yesterday for a church lunch today. We were glad we got them yesterday because we were able to see how bad they were. We ended up purchasing Persian cucumbers, cauliflower florets and sugar snap peas to replace the subpar celery (browned, and all the ends of the few we were able to salvage had to be cut off), the sliced carrots and radishes (very few radishes, and the ones in the tray were yellowed, and the carrots were dried out). It was definitely overkill on the carrots. The baby carrots had to be put in cold water for a while to refresh them. Several of the bell peppers were mushy, and one even had mold on the stem end of it. The "best if used by dates" were beyond today's date. One was best by tomorrow, and the other 2 were by Aug. 20. I would have hated to see what shape the trays were in on the 20th! We would have saved time and money if we had just prepped the veggie trays ourselves.

Purchased for a holiday get together. The celery pieces did not look too desirable, edges were dry and stringy. I cut the dry pieces off. The rest of the veggies looked great and the dip is tasty. Will definitely purchase again for the family to snack on during the week.
