[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great wine. I used it two ways. I had it with a steak and baked potato. It is very smooth but a little on the sweet side. I use it in a spaghetti sauce. It added a little sweet flavor. I really enjoy this as a stand alone drink after a meal.

I recently switched from drinking sugary moscato wines to dry red wines in an effort to be more health conscious. At first I really liked this wine. It tasted good, it was affordable, and it has a convenient screw cap. It did take some getting use to as I was use to drinking basically juice tasting wine, so switching to dry, was a bit of a change. I only drink about 1 glass every other night or so, and I noticed that after this had been opened for 3 or 4 days it started tasting really bitter and was getting more difficult to tolerate. I won’t be getting it anymore, and am now looking for something that is going to last a little longer with a good flavor without getting bitter after a few days.

I’ve always been a hearty, full body Cabernet fan….UNTIL THANKSGIVING! I was blown away by the rich, decadent dark flavor. Not only is affordable, it pairs well with meals. If you have tried Meiomi, just do it. I promise you, it will Not let you down. Meiomi Pinot Noir

There is no bitter or sour after taste. The dark velvety richness of tis wine bring thoughts of a mix of cherries and a hint of chocolate to my palate. When choosing a re wine to serve to guests with dinner, this wine never fails to please not people.
