All of our products undergo thorough quality testing before they find their way to your home (and car), so this isn't something we would expect from our Car Vent Clips, however, we do have some tips to help remove any fragrance oil from the surfaces f your car. To remove the oil, wash any affected surface with mild soap and water and then dry it with a clean, dry cloth to avoid any damage. If any oil comes in contact with your hands, make sure you wash them with soap and water as well. We're sorry to learn you're not thrilled with your Febreze CAR Vent Clip Five Pack you purchased at Sam's Club. Because our Quality Team works very hard to make sure you only have the best experience possible, we never expect to learn your nose didn't get to enjoy the various fragrances. It may help to know you need to lift and snap the back of the Clip into place. When you do that, small indentations are made in the membrane as well as in the foil located between the perfume and the membrane (not visible to the eye), saturating a porous material with the scented oil. Clip it to a vent guard, and let the air from the car vent spread the scented oil fragrance throughout the car. If you're still not getting fragrance, move the adjuster, at the top of the Clip, to a more intense setting. You can also increase the speed of your vent fan. We want to note that whether the dial is at its highest or lowest, the scent should last up to 30 days, depending on the speed and temperature of the vent. If on the lowest setting, it MAY last longer than 30 days. When you cannot smell the scent anymore, it's time to replace the clip (non-refillable). Need more help?
