I just finished putting it together. It took me a little longer because I’m a small female and I built it by myself. I absolutely adore it! I used the BILT app along with the booklet to insure I was doing everything correctly. There is only one step that I would suggest to change. The instructions tell you to put the dust seal and the poly channels on and slide the side windows into place and then take the protective wrapping off. I did one window that way and it was a pain. The other windows I took the protective wrapping off first, and then did the other steps, just make sure you keep track of which side faces out. Other than that, I was able to fully understand every step. The instructions were very easy to follow. I do suggest you have a separate table for all of the hardware and put things in numerical and alphabetical order. it will make the assembly go so much easier. I am incredibly happy over the quality of the greenhouse. And it is just so cute to look at. Also, I sat in there and had my morning coffee during a heavy thunderstorm and didn’t have any issues with it leaking, I was very happy about that as well.

After doing a little research, I decided this was going to be the best bang for our buck in terms of greenhouse kits. I’m happy to say I’m absolutely thrilled with the results. Wonderful quality materials makes this seem like an incredibly sturdy little building. My husband reports the assembly directions were some of the best he’s seen. My only design critique is it would be great if there were two windows that open to allow for a cross breeze on hot days.

As a low budget gardener I appreciate the time and effort that went into designing this greenhouse. Its everything someone with a smaller Backyard could have asked for. The instructions are very clear and depict exactly what to do next. My only complaint is the amount of time i have to take to find the parts scattered between the 8 large boxes. However if you take the time to find the parts listings and the instruction booklet that time can be cut down slightly.

Nice Greenhouse, looks great and the design is efficient. I would buy it again if I needed a second greenhouse. Giving it 4 stars because some of the directions are not super clear and there is some trial and error to get it together properly. If you are resourceful it is not a huge problem The roof design is not perfect but with a lot silicone sealant it will be fine. I would recommend using a caulking gun and not the little tubes of silicone they supply. Also I stained it as I went along building after reading a few other reviews, much better coverage.

We put this greenhouse together ourselves after taking a breath because we are not carpenters or builders. But this greenhouse has been the BEST DIY project we have ever done. The instructions are very exact. I am now getting all my plants ready for our garden and everything about this greenhouse has worked fantastically. Didn't put picture because mine looks JUST LIKE the one in the pictures.

Purchased our greenhouse in July and it was delivered in August. We unboxed and waterproofed everything prior to construction, or so we thought. We didn’t open one box because we thought it just had the fan. Surprise. When we discovered we were missing some pieces, we opened the last box and found everything we were missing. Everything was labeled plainly. We were pleased that the pilot holes almost always lined up. The book instructions were clear and easy to follow. The BILT App did not account for the change in the roof construction. Removing the blue protective plastic on the metal pieces was the most annoying. We felt like we made good progress until the blue plastic removal. The actual construction took us (two old ladies) about 22 hours and the initial waterproofing took another 15 hours. We were very pleased with the quality of the materials, the clarity of the assembly instructions and the look of the finished product. Now if we can just grow something.

Me and my husband recently retired in Tennessee from Florida. We are city people trying to act country! Ha ha! I'm going to try to grow vegetables in the winter. I do believe it's feasible. This greenhouse is very well insulated. Keeps the heat really good at night. I also included a small radiator heater. Stays about 65 at night when the temperature is 35 outside. Very happy. Can't wait to grow vegetables in the wintertime. P.S. this was a beast to put together. Organizing all the wood takes about 3 hours but, it's worth it!

It offers complete ventilation and plenty of room to store your plants for the off season. Another great feature is the exterior/interior hose to make watering your plants easy. The interior shelving is a great height for standing and working with your plants.

We are not handy construction type people. My wife & I put it together in three days. Got help from a handy friend on day 2. Unpacking & set up / organizing all the pieces and parts took half of the first day. We only got thru step 7 on the first Saturday. Sunday we had a handy friend help us and we got thru step 70 something. I had to take the Monday off but we were able to complete all of the outside walls and roof. Thru step 100 something. Only thing was the door and some of the inside stuff which I was able to do in the evenings the following week or so. Once done, we started making the garden beds around our new greenhouse. We got some free rocks from some friends, added dirt and weed block fabric. We added a gutter on the back to go with our free rain barrel we got from our community's recycle program. My wife loves it and I enjoy my new duties being the "water boy"

I bought this greenhouse for my wife in December 2023, Delivered in perfect condition in February 2024. We poured a concrete slab to build it on in April. What a great experience with Backyard Discovery. The greenhouse kit was in 8 different boxes with literally hundreds of wood pieces and hundreds of pieces of hardware. EVERY single item was clearly marked and easy to identify. They also included extra pieces of each type of hardware needed as well as any specialty screw bits or tools needed. In a world of companies doing the very minimum possible, it was quite refreshing to see a company go above and beyond to make sure that your project would go up without a hitch. Where most companies seem to careless after they get your money, Backyard Discovery actually cares about the quality of their product, AND the quality of the consumers experience in using their product. (serious golf clap for Backyard Discovery and their team). My wife and I took our time assembling the greenhouse, took about 2 and half days for us to complete the structure. We then covered all wood products with Penofin Clear Red Label Penetrating Brazilian Rosewood Oil (great stuff). Wife was going to be using it exclusively for hydroponic growing, so I installed many additional outlets on a GFCI. We also installed a stainless sink and reel hose. The sink didn't have a drain available in ground, so we drain into a 5 gallon bucket, that has a water pump inside with a float switch. So when she uses the sink the pump comes on and pumps the sink drain water out through a hose and into the yard. Since these photos were taken we have added a few extras. We were having a serious problem with heat, everything she was growing was bolting cause the Temp in June in So Cal was so hot that the temperature inside the greenhouse during the day would reach 125 degrees. All the vegetables she was growing were bolting. We first tried additional fans, didn't work. Then we tried an evaporative cooler, didn't work. We finally ended up with a combination of shade and AC. We installed a 10000 BTU wall AC unit which we keep set at 85 degrees. We installed shade panels in each of the ceiling bays on the inside of the greenhouse, and we installed a shade cloth that is mounted outside and shades our entire south facing wall. That combination seems to be solving our heating issues. Then for creature comforts we installed a porch light, interior work lights, padded flooring, and I know kind of cringe but we have a wall mounted TV for her to watch her shows while she gardens in her she shed. All in all, she's happy, I'm happy that she's happy. She has a real nice place to do what she loves, and I get a few fresh veges out of the whole deal. Thank you again Backyard Discovery!
