Just bought this morning and the top will not come off. I googled the issue and it seems that someone else had the same problem. Not sure if this is a defect on all of the bottles....maybe just this pallet or something. Will be returning.

We only use butter, lard and olive oil now. I buy this oil because it's reasonably priced and is great to fry veggies in. We're trying to keep a little ahead with it. I noticed our Sam's is out but we have an almost full one and an unopened one. So hopefully we're good till they get it back in. We will get the EVOO if that's all they have. It's great too!

I have used this oil for years. I love it. It's great for frying and baking. However, this last bottle that I bought within the last couple of months or so has the hand grip redesigned so that it is very wide and does not fit my adult medium hand. I need two hands to hold the bottle, which is unwieldy, and it feels like I may drop it . A previous design, even further back, had an actual handle attached to the top of the bottle. This redesign is uncomfortable and needs to revert back to the smaller grip or the attached handle.

The Olive Oil is the greatest! We have been using Sam's Olive Oil for years. Now the added benefit of buying this iis extended. We live 70 miles from Sams and I love Sams but cannot get there very often. However, since I have Sams Plus it is delivered to my door free. THANK YOU Sams!! I REALLY appreciate it!

They say Olive Oil is one of the heart healthy oils to use that is un-inflammatory to your body. Since it is mild in flavor, it’s been so processed, it’s probably not any better than Canola or other Vegetable oils that are highly inflammatory. Also, since the debut of this oil in the past 3-4 years ago at Sam’s Club, the price of this oil sky rocketed 50% more and wonder because of the good reviews of this oil that caused a demand of this product. I still use this oil for cooking and is good for higher heat cooking, but wish there was more evidence that this oil is truly good for you to justify for the premium of the cost than your typical cooking oils.

The best oil for daily cooking I just wish it was not refined. My biggest problem is 50% of the times it does not get packed properly. It comes in a big cardboard box where there was nothing inside the box but the oil bottle itself. Once entire oil leaked on my porch and twice I had partial leak and the bottle squashed had to go to local Sams to exchange what’s the point of paying for plus membership! These never get checked before getting shipped. FedEx is not going to take care of these boxes Sams club use common sense and seal the mouth and add packing fillers

I bought two of these and I am willing to admit that perhaps this shipment had a manufacturing defect, but how the heck do these open? I have spun the top, but there are no threads. I have thought that it is a pull tab, but no such luck, it will not budge. I have done everything except punch a hole in it.....any ideas? Please don't tell me to punch a hole in it.

I have been purchasing this oil for years from Sam's Club I make a garlic Rosemary oil for my friends. It's wonderful I have purchased 6 bottles so far this year and sm getting 4 more today. It has Increased in price getting harder to supply everyone that uses my oil. Still cheaper than anywhere else I have checked. Thank you again Sam's Club. Winner
