The flavor is good for cooking whether stove top, crock pot, or oven roast. The higher priced virgin olive oil is better for dipping or salad dressing. I can find VOO easily at retail stores but not regular olive oil. Thank goodness, Sam's stocks it!

The olive oil is really great however, the bottle was crushed at the top which makes it difficult to pour from. I believe that the box of items I ordered was not packed appropriately resulting in the top being crushed in. The box itself looked like it had been through the wringer. All of the other product that I ordered were in good shape.

Not happy that the price 3l Member's Mark 100% Olive Oil has DOUBLED in one year!

I'm very pleased with this oil. I purchased it for soap making and have also been using it in cooking; both with good results
