We've bought alot of these as they are a very mild oil useful in all my frying (except pancakes and similar). Great price for an everyday healthy oil. The only reason we have stopped ordering is not due to the products, it is the insistence on using FedEx to ship. Because of that we no longer order.

This is processed oil, not cold pressed, therefore it has a higher smoke point and less flavor, which makes it perfect for sauteing. If you want flavor for dipping and salads, then get the cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil. This is a healthy alternative to vegetable oil and canola oil.

My rating for this product is because of the high price. And it seems there is no apparent reason to increase that. I used to buy this product regularly since 2020 and I liked it. However, the price is gradually going up and now beyond my reach. I started buying this for $12. Over four years it now reached at $30. Which is 250% increase! That is a very surprising increase. You may blame many things like supply chain, geo political issue, etc. But nothing is justified in this increase. In fact, in just the last four months price is up from $24 to $30. Which is a hefty 25% increase. In February crude oil price was $78 per barrel and today it is $81. Just 3.8% increase. Why olive oil increase 25%? Since February there is no war started in this world, no pandemic, so why the price increased? Moreover, inflation remains steady at around 3%. Why Olive oil is 25% increased?

I use this in all my soaps: CP, CPOP, CPLS, HTFHP. It’s light color doesn’t discolor soap batter and it’s much easier to produce whiter bars than EVOO. Castile bars are fantastic with this olive oil - after the requisite one year cure. More cost effective than EVOO and better price/shipping than any wholesale soaping companies I’ve used (WSP, BA, BB, NDA, SC). In-Store pickup seals the deal for me. Very highly recommended.

Yes, utility grade. If you want an olive oil for fancy-shmancey stuff, then this will disappoint. This olive oil is light and clean, meaning there isn't much flavor, which works great for frying an egg or oiling a bread pan. We use this oil for pretty much everything. My wife and daughters use it in their hair! I've tasted the Cold-pressed EVOO that all the fang-dangled chefs tout and the flavor is mighty powerful, which is fine in a salad dressing, or maybe a particular dish which calls for strong flavors, but if you want a light, versatile oil that is healthy for you, look no further. This is it.
