Enjoyed making this one. It sits on my sideboard along with the water lillys. I removed the stems on those so they sit beside the orchid. Perfect. Looks great.

I just built this yesterday and I still can’t get over how the picture is wrong on both the box and the website. The shiny part of the smaller petals is put onto the blossom upside down. If you turn it around and attach it from the back of the ring instead of the front, the shiny part of the petal shows up in the front, which is where it’s supposed to be. I can’t believe nobody notices that the square block shouldn’t be in the front.

I absolutely love the LEGO Orchid set! Out of the four LEGO botanical flower sets I own, this one is hands down my favorite. It’s great to find Legos for the adults that feel too old to “play with toys!” From a distance, the orchid is easily confused for real at a quick glance
