Even as an adult, I never tire of Legos. This was my first set I've done since I was a child. It exceeded my expectations! This is so nice looking I actually use it for decoration in my home. A nice potted plant that is always in bloom and never needs watering! And you have to get up close to realize it's Lego and not a real plant. I highly recommend for the big kid in all of us. :)

Building this mini orchid was a pleasant interlude in a busy day. The instructions are clear, the bricks are always accurate, with a few extras of the little bricks. I love seeing how various bricks are used differently in the different sets. The sets are so clever and creative.

I really enjoyed building this set, as it was the first one I purchased out of this line of smaller Botanicals with the round pots - I've been asking for more orchid sets, so when this one was announced, it was an instant purchase. Easy and fun build - but I didn't like that the majority of the pieces used for the end/tip of the flower spike are Bright Green, when the rest of the spike is in Dark Green. As well, the exact pieces used are *already* produced/available in Dark Green. The Bright Green makes the end of the flower spike look disconnected and out of place compared to the rest of it. Luckily, I had some of those pieces in Dark Green from the Pink Bouquet to use and swap out, so it looks a lot better now... but the colour of the buds still doesn't make much sense for the colour of the flowers. This is my main issue with many of the Lego Botanicals sets - so many of the colour choices don't make sense if we're going for realism, and a lot of the time the piece is already available/being produced in a "more appropriate" colour that could've been used instead. Another example of this happening would be in the 'Tiny Plants' (10329) set and the colour choices for the Pitcher Plant.

I already had the large orchid set, so when I saw the mini I wanted to have it too. The set is very beautiful, and unlike some botanical sets I have this one is very sturdy. parts don’t fall off even when my dogs bump the table I keep it on. I personally liked the little page with the watercolor style art in the building instructions . I cut the art out to frame along with the art from the bamboo set lol.

this build was rather quick, and nice to have on display...the color choices seem odd up close...I can see why they chose these colors from their reference photo but up close they look odd... this looks best on a shelf and not up close. I like it a lot and still would recommend it

It's become a lovely centerpiece for our table. It can be very fiddly, though. We had a lot of problems with trying to tighten it in one place only for it to pop loose in another. I've not bought a kit in many years, but this is the first one I recall genuinely considering using glue on just for assembly, rather than durability.

I really love this orchid. I bought it to complete my small collection of the chrysanthemum, the orchid, the lucky bamboo, and the plum blossom branch. The orchid is so cute and dainty, I love the engineering that went into making the stem and flowers, and really helped me conceptualize how to build more unique flowers on my own!

I love this Lego orchid set, and it looks great in my guestroom, which needed something. The only problem is if my cat is determined to eat it, as she was when I put it together. So far no problems. I am so happy that Lego is making things for adults who aren’t’ techies. I asked my granddaughters to put it together for me, but they went on vacation instead 😂

I had such a fun time building this Mini Orchid! It was a relaxing, satisfying build, and the finished piece looks gorgeous on my display. The little flowers and leaves are surprisingly detailed for the size, and it feels like a real plant without any watering needed. A perfect decorative piece and a great gift for anyone who loves plants or LEGO!
