My favorite dill pickles

So we love pickles, the first purchase was 2 jars figuring that would be a good start as we go through about a jar a week. BOY was I wrong, those 2 jars were gone within a week so the next trip I bought 6 more and those made it to the end of the month. The next month I bought 8 jars figuring we had established a pickle quota, apparently my house eats pickles like the US Gov't eats tax dollars because 8 jars lasted 3/4 of the way through the month. The baby even wants these pickles. I fear if they do not return to stock soon my head may end up on a pike at the front gate.

I think my issue is I prefer Deli style Dill pickles like Claussen. These are ok and I'm enjoying the experiment. Love the small size. But I think the turmeric is overwhelming, giving them an almost strong clove like taste. Admittedly, *petite* pickles are supposed to taste different than spears. I feel like its a twist on European style cornichons and gherkins, which do not have the strong dill/salt/vinegar taste of Vlassic. Will pair well with many things, but definitely not a New York style deli pickle. I will enjoy them and probably make a jar to share with the neighbors.
