[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this! I often use edge taker, as I have curly hair and many of the style I do need to be maintained for several days. Unfortunately Pantene didnt work well for me in that regard. While it has a pleasant scent, it doesnt present maximum hold. The tamer is clear and the texture is very smooth and left my hair feeling soft. I applied it to my edges and secured a scarf to hold it down as I do with all my other edge control products. It looked great for the first few hours, had a beautiful shine and sleek appearance. After about 3 hrs I noticed that my hair was no longer slick. The area was curling back up. I reapplied it, and it still remained clear which is good since these sort of products tend to cause build up. I was unfortunately met with the same issue within a few more hours. With that Ill say this may work for textures that are straighter and dont require long hold. The price is affordable and it can be found at various retailers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pantene gold series edge tamer worked very well on my edges. I have these curly untamed edges and this edge control wirked wonders. Sleek and non oily soft scented. I used this product on both wet and dry edges kepted them in place. Worked very well full workday didnt have to retouch edges maintained sleek look all day. Product didnt leave residue or buildup at the end of the day i was still anle to comb through my hair with no flaking. Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a love hate relationship with the edge control but it has nothing to do with the product itself. Its my edges, they curl up quick. But besides that I absolutely love the smell, the consistency of the product, and the the couple minutes my edges be sleeked (not products fault) it does what it does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for something that will hold "through it all" then this is probably not the one for you. However, I actually love it. It does have a great hold but I will say this; it wouldnt make it past our trip to the park or a workout. So, pretty much with any strenuous activity (sweating) my hair was all over the place. I actually prefer it that way because I don't like to put products on my hair that are too heavy, not easily removed from the hair or harsh products that would be damaging. Exactly what I needed and as a bonus it smells so good.

If I had to change anything the hold would be it. The package is nice and the jar is a nice size. It smells good too! It left 0 flakes and I was really happy about that.

I was able to try this complementary as a sample. My hair is coily and coarse. My hair is dark and it's blends well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] HOT MESS EXPRESS! If you have kinky hair dont even bother!!! This product started flaking and my hair went back to its natural state after 5 minutes of application, I gave it a try for 2-3 days but it wasnt worth it at all. I usually love everything I receive in my vox boxes but this one should get 0 stars. It just wasnt an option. I even love Argan oil products but it didnt matter Pantene let me down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging so pretty it looks nice and cute. I have curly 4b 4c black hair. I think this I a better edge tamer then the rest I have tried. I believe the price is similar to most edge tamers. I was very pleased with the product.

Then when I opened it the smell of it was soooooo good its infused with argan oil. I put the product on my edges so far it feels soft and nice to the touch.

My daughter has silky curly hair mixed ethnicity hair and it worked great for all three of us. Keeps edges tamed all day with no build up or residue. Great product. So glad influenster let me test it out for my unbiased opinion about the product.
