[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a love hate relationship with the edge control but it has nothing to do with the product itself. Its my edges, they curl up quick. But besides that I absolutely love the smell, the consistency of the product, and the the couple minutes my edges be sleeked (not products fault) it does what it does.

This product started flaking and my hair went back to its natural state after 5 minutes of application, I gave it a try for 2-3 days but it wasnt worth it at all. I usually love everything I receive in my vox boxes but this one should get 0 stars. It just wasnt an option. I even love Argan oil products but it didnt matter Pantene let me down.

It smells wonderful and has excellent hold. I have natural hair and this edge control kept my edges slick and in place the entire day. It didnt make my hair hard nor did it flake and turn white like done other brands tend to do. I wore the edge control all day on 3 separate occasions including a gym work out and it stood up, it did begin to loosen up after the gym but it held up better than other brands Ive used in the past.

It also depends on the texture of your hair as well. It smelled good and I did like the fact that it didnt leave my hair feeling too stiff or hard. With that being said it wont make your edges comply slick if you have corse hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try the Patene Gold Series Edge Tamer. I am a big fan of Patene but I had never heard of this from them. To me it wasnt bad. To mee it's just like gel that I use but I think this product worked a little better. I feel like gel hardens and this didnt harden. It held up pretty good as well. The one time it didnt work well was applying some to my hair and then working out. Sweated my hair out so nothing was going to help it after that. But when used any other time my edges looked good. I would use this product in the future. Would recommend.

Pantene Gold series Edge tamer did great job compared to other brand i have previously tried.... except it doesn't completely give me a perfect hold. Aside that, I love the texture it gives to my hair after application and the way it smell so nice definitely will consider buying in the future.

She recently had a trim, but her ends still looked brittle, but with Pantene Gold Series Edge Tamer, her hair looks healthy and vibrant. Her ends look healthy and moisturized!

Only thing i dont care for is that my hair is not as soft to brush afterwards as i would have hoped but is soft after it dries.
